Hey. I run Hell's Caretaker in a casual deck of mine, and I don't know if I'm using it correctly. Ultimately this is about when summoning sickness wears off. I had always thought that, for a creature without haste to use a tap ability, it has to have been on the battlefield under your control since the beginning of your last upkeep step. Am I correct? If so, does this mean you have to wait two whole turns to use Hell's Caretaker? The upkeep of the turn after you cast it, the "last upkeep" is still last turn's, so Hell's Caretaker shouldn't be allowed to tap, should it?
302.6. A creature’s activated ability with the tap symbol or the untap symbol in its activation cost can’t be activated unless the creature has been under its controller’s control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. A creature can’t attack unless it has been under its controller’s control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. This rule is informally called the “summoning sickness” rule.
You need only wait one turn before using Caretaker.

No. A creature must have been on the battlefield since the beginning of your turn in order for it to attack and use activated abilities that require tapping. You will in fact be able to use your Caretaker the turn after you cast it.
Thanks in advance.
