So, what happens if...
I am at 6 life and my opponent doesn't have any cards in their library. My opponent has a transformed Delver of Secrets equipped with a Sword of Fire and Ice. He attacks me for 5 and I take it. The ability goes on the stack, dealing 2 to me (being lethal) and draws a card. What happens when it resolves?
My understanding is that I don't die until state based actions are checked, which means that the ability need to finish resolving. But the second part of the ability (drawing the card) would kill him before state based actions are checked.
So basically, did I get it right and I win??
Thank you very much.

In Lorwyn's brief evenings, the sun pauses at the horizon long enough for a certain species of violet to bloom with the fragrance of mischief.
You are right that losing the game via damage is checked via a State Based Action. However, losing the game from drawing a card from an empty library is also checked as a State Based Action. The next time the game checks SBAs, it would see you with 0 or less life and it would see a player that tried to draw from an empty library, and then make both of those players lose the game. Since both of you are losing the game at the same time, the game is a draw.

Sweet, I wasn't sure about drawing from an empty library was checked by state based actions.
Thanks!!
