I am trying to have a little outline of the War of the Spark story, by following the "story scenes".
I'm a little frustrated that this set, probably one of the most story driven sets in a long time is also the set where they decided to keep the story out of their website. So if anyone could check or improve this outline, I would be thankful.
Act 1
The planar bridge is ready, with Tezzeret, and the Interplanar Beacon is unveiled. I'm not really sure what's Vraska doing here.
The planar bridge opens over the Chamber of the Guildpact. The invasion begins, with Liliana commanding the Dreadhorde.
The beacon is ignited (by Ajani?) calling a bunch of Planeswalkers, and the Immortal Sun prevents anyone who arrives to leave Ravnica.
Act 2
A first batch of planeswalkers arrive to fight in the war.
Champions of the Dreadhorde also arrives.
Sorin and Nahiri come to Ravnica but they start fighting their own fight.
The guils of Ravnica take part on the war.
The guildless also take part in the war. I'm not sure if Massacre Girl is helping, though.
The sky of Ravnica become the stage of the war, with Flying Eternals fighting angels, leaded by Feather and the Parhelion II
Another batch of planeswalkers arrive. Although is not in the scene, I think here Chandra binds Dovin.
Nissa awakes Vitu-Ghazi and crashes Bolas' statue. There's a rise in the moral of the good guys.
In some point Bolas kills Niv Mizzet (you know right, there must only be one inteligent dragon) and then the plan to ressurect Niv as the guild pact enters in action.
It is fun cause we only know that bolas killed Niv Mizzet because the article spoiling Niv reborn suposed we knew it happened (even if we had no clue)
Think it is better to wait the book come out because we can't even imagine what they are going to go with the story.
For exemple, the Vraska picture is probably she mobilizing the Golgari to fight the eternals. But we can't be sure because we have litle context on what is happening in the story.
Is killed by Bolas before the story begins in the book. The intention was to unite the guilds which would empower Niv enough to take on Bolas. But Vraska kills Isperia at the summit causing everything to fall apart and Niv fights Bolas severely underpowered and is annihilated.
Vraska:
This really pissed me off, but Vraska had her memory restored by a Golgari character off-screen. The entire Ixalan plot of Jace restoring her memory is simply discarded and not in the book. So Vraska had her memory back when the guild summit began but she still kills Isperia out of spite and hatred for the things that happened in the past. Vraska then planeswalks back to her pirate buddies on Ixalan and only returns after the Immortal Sun is deactivated, leaving the Golgari in disarray and not involved in anything in the meantime.
How Vraska's character is handled in the story will upset a great many people I guarantee.
really...
the jace x vraska thing isn't happening and her memory is restored by a random golgari member rather than jace

So first, where are you getting this from, I thought it wasn't out yet. Second, isn't the immortal sun already off Ixalan, and didn't we already see Vraska back on Ravnica post Isperia biting it in the short stories?

Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!

Have we got any story articles focused on the main story of the set? If i remember the majority of them were not even focused on known characters, but rather gave an "it is a normal day in Ravnica", maybe the Artbook of Guilds gave some information or blurb right, but in the mothership they didn't gave much of a context to any card ppl have no idea what was happening and this hasn't change.

Act 1.1
The interplanar beacon is lit, luring planeswalkers to Ravnica. Ravnica prepares for war, although some welcome the coming conflict, seeking advantages. Meanwhile, on Amonkhet, the Eternal Dreadhorde prepares to enter Tezzeret's planar bridge.
Act 1.2
The Planar Portal opens- right at the Chamber of the Guilpact in the heart of the tenth district. The resulting tumult wipes out much of the critical architecture of Ravnica. The Dreadhorde, led by Liliana, invades the city, immediately besetting upon the terrorized populace.
Act 1.3
Jace and Ajani call more planeswalkers to aid them in the coming fight, only once all are there, the lid on the plane slams shut with the Immortal Sun being installed at New Prahv.
Act 2.1
The Planeswalker allies, many of whom have their own personal grudges against Bolas, join the fight against the dreadhorde. Some, however, side with Bolas.
Act 2.2
The Dreadhorde attack intensifies behind a resurrected Neheb, as more elite units enter the batle.
Act 2.3
Through it all, Nahiri and Sorin wage their own personal battle, oblivious to the War or the greater scope. Friggin oldwalkers.
Act 2.4
The denizens of Ravnica push back against the Dreadhorde, with the Izzet and Selesnya leading the fray.
Act 2.5
As the chaos worsens and the Izzet push their inventions to the front, the citizenry of Ravnica bands together, realizing their own survival is at stake. Some, however, are not quite as willing to buy into the lovefest.
Act 2.6
As the Eternal's Air Force commands the skies, the Parhelion II, led by the long-lost Feather, emerges, and flocks of Boros Angels swarm against the Dreadhorde.
Act 2.7
A team of planeswalkers, Chandra chief among them, launch an assault against New Prahv, and Bolas loyalist Dovin Baan.
Act 2.8
Nissa, now prepared to accept her role as "The Hand that Moves" returns to Ravnica and animates nothing less than Vitu-Ghazi. The massive elemental promptly destroys Bolas' statue, offering a morale boost to the plane.
Act 2.9
With Ravnica's defenses surging in defiance, Bolas brings in his Dreadhorde reserves- led by none other than the Eternalized gods themselves.
Act 2.10
As Bolas prepares for the endgame, Niv-Mizzet is struck down. Ajani and Gideon unite the desperate Ravnician population into a single fighting force, while Jace, Vraska, and Ral struggle to come up with a way to put Niv-Mizzet's plan into action.
Act 3.1
Bolas casts the Elderspell, a terrible magic used to increase his own power- at the expense of other Planeswalkers sparks and lives. His first victim is one of his most loyal followers- Domri Rade, although other Planeswalkers quickly begin to fall as well.
Act 3.2
Kaya, now seeing Bolas' true intentions, recants both her loyalty and place in the Orzhov, and joins the Gatewatch. The Gatewatch spurs the populace into action against Bolas Citadel, knowing there's no option for failure. Even as the attack commences, however, Bolas' forces deal massive blows against the Resistance.
Act 3.3
Gideon, realizing there's nothing left to lose, beseeches a Pegasus to carry him to Bolas. The plan nearly fails, however, as Oketra shoots the Pegasus from the sky. Gideon's fall is stopped by none other than Rakdos, who swallows his pride so that the invader might be destroyed. Gideon leaps, Blackblade in hand, to end the war- and promptly fails, as Bolas brushes him away and shatters the Blackblade. All is lost, and Bolas orders Liliana to bring forth the Dreadhorde to wipe out the Ravnican resistance. Liliana, however, refuses, turning against Bolas, severing her contract and forfeiting her life. Gideon, however, takes the price of her betrayal on himself, sacrificing himself so that Liliana's control of the Dreadhorde may continue.
Act 3.4
Gideon's sacrifice does not go unrewarded, as the fallen planeswalker finds himself in the Therosian afterlife- surrounded by his long dead Irregulars. All guilt that Gide-no, Kytheon had felt from their deaths is washed away in forgiveness. Back on Ravnica, the Dreadhorde's betrayal proves Bolas' undoing, with Liliana reaching out to Bontu and Oketra to deal the final blow, ripping Bolas' spark from him just as Bolas had done to so many others. Bolas survives, but is weakened, and banished to his meditation plane for all eternity. Having won the war against an Elder Dragon with the power of a god, Ravnica celebrates around the statue. Much of the plane is devastated by the war, but already signs of regrowth are starting to show.
I keep wondering about a couple things that appear "out of order" on this. Niv-Mizzet Reborn is a story spotlight from Act 3. In the artwork, you can clearly see Bolas on top of his Bolas's Citadel. OK.
Now, the flavor text on Gateway Plaza appears to be referencing Niv's rebirth (what other parun can be reborn?), and the artwork seemingly shows where the citadel should be, but it looks like it is after all the fighting is over... Oversight or...?

I can say from some sources of the internet that Niv's death happens before the story of the set beggins. He is killed by bolas before the ivasion and the planar bridge was opened.
Also Vraska may have planeswalked away from Ravnica before the sun was active...
I just finished the book. The book does not have a scene where Lily uses the Chain Veil to destroy the gem of becoming, like in Finale of Eternity. So is Lily blowing up the chain veil and the gem of becoming canon?

Unsure. I've seen talk where she has both the gem and the veil. Could be hearsay.

Are those canon? Jh216 seems to have deleted his post. Or was this quoted from another thread?
He deleted his post, but that's essentially what happened from what I gathered from the Tolarian Community College's book review, which people should watch. And it only goes downhill from there with almost all the other characters. If the Tolarian Community Colleges book review is accurate (and I believe him because I've read another book review that's similar about the book's quality floating around in some other user's signature that I liked as well), this book will probably rank up there with the worst of them (thinking of New Phyrexia and Original Zendikar books era).
