I tried googling this but it turned up nothing. I reached out to wizards tech support and so far they have no idea what it going on.
If someone has experienced this, please let me know.
Yesterday morning I booted up arena and noticed that in the corner was a round icon in a square. Clicking on it did nothing. What was alarming was that to the left of the icon was a small window with whatever my webcam was seeing. Long story short, I reinstalled the program and the icon disappeared, only to reappear later, sans the webcam footage. I tried a clean uninstall and reinstall, still there.I have no idea what is going on and apparently wizards doesn't either. Has anyone experienced this? Could there be some sort of way for people to access your computer through arena? I have uploaded a picture of the area of the client I am talking about.
Not entirely sure if I should be freaking out or what. I did uninstall the program and will leave it that way until I hear back from them.
Welp, two seconds after I posted this, I realized what must've happened.
My cat has developed a nasty habit of walking across my keyboard. She probably engaged the webcam via the Nvidia overlay, something I'd never used before or even seen in use.
If I were a smaller man, I'd delete this in shame, but instead I choose to leave it here, so others can know my folly. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go crawl into a hole somewhere and die of embarrassment.

That looks to be a part of the nVidia drivers. Watch this video; https://youtu.be/OgDqH2jzcr8
