And in more pearls of wisdom, we learn that Wizards of the Coast employees did NOT, contrary to popular belief, graduate from Elementary School math and learn their digits.
"In addition, some locations may offer 3-person Team Prerelease Tournaments. Each team will receive two (2) Champions of KamigawaTM tournament packs and four (6) Betrayers of KamigawaTM boosters to build 3 decks."
Four (6), eh?
EDIT: This is found in the Worldwide prerelease section.
Might be the reanimation spell rumored. Or there might be yet another nezumi reanimator. Though the story already makes it sound like Ink-Eyes has that ability. Note also
"Rise. Rise, Ink-Eyes, Servant of Kuro. Rise, Ink-Eyes the Desecrator.”
so the full name of the card is probably Ink-Eyes the Desecrator. Of course there's already a Nighteyes the Desecrator which reanimates. Maybe we're looking at something along the lines of Bone Dancer for Ink-Eyes.
Irrelvancy: There were team preleases for champions in boston
We already have Kuro, Pitlord. He sucks. Possible re-animation target, I think, but not much else at the moment.
EDIT: And by re-animation, I mean only in the loose context of this particular block if the re-animator works as so far predicted. He'd suck for, say, an Extended re-animator deck.
I love that Ink eyes story, she is going to be awesome. (I hope). Also, When I first saw that art with the Nezumi in the swamp with the two zombies/dead people, I thought of the reanimator that is rumored to be in this block.
I also like the big yellow feathery dragon thingy!
=D
It reminds me of those golden pheonix statues you see in chinese restaurants, may this could be a pheonix? (yeah, yeah, I know, Kamigawa = Japanese, but it looks very much like it I would say)

If you came here expecting a signature, you've just wasted your time.
And before it's gone again (someone posted this earlier, but it didn't work...) i've uploaded the front pic.
And while i'm on it...this is the meet the betrayers text: Kamigawa is a land of infinite stories, and Betrayers of Kamigawa continues to feature storylines both big and small as the Kami War begins in earnest. And since it was so popular with Champions of Kamigawa, we are pleased to be able to once more present the legends behind the Legends.
Kamigawa is still a world of Kami, Orochi, and Nezumi, a place where the spiritual and "real" worlds intermingle, but the Kami War has changed things. The schism between the kakuriyo and utsushiyo has effects no one can guess. The mighty patron kami are no longer so easily appeased. And Konda's mighty samurai have been devastated by an unexpected attack.
So who are the Betrayers of Kamigawa? In a sense, everybody is. As the war heats up, there are spirits turning on spirits and humans turning on humans. Alliances are tossed aside for momentary benefits and longstanding rivalries become full-blown blood feuds.
Over the next five weeks, we'll profile five Legends from the world of Betrayers of Kamigawa. Hold tight; this is going to be good.
yeah i found it earlier but it fizzled out.

Ignorance may be bliss, but the ignorant are still stupid.
the bird doesn't have the build of a phoenix. I'm expecting some kind of beefy white flyer that'll probably be costed too high to play outside of control
Ink-Eyes the Desecrator sounds an awful lot like Nighteyes the desecrator, one of the flip cards from CHK. And I'm pretty sure that's him again in that reanimation art.

Opal-Eye, Konda's Yojimbo
And, if memory serves, the "Meet the Legends" stories start tomorrow...

I read it as
two CHK = for a total of two
and
four BOK = for a total of six
It would then make a little more sense ;-)
Yeah, but then the second part of the prerelease message:
"Cost of entry includes one (1) Champions of KamigawaTM tournament pack and three (3) Betrayers of KamigawaTM boosters."
doesn't make sense with that.
EDIT: I can't spell.
