Yes, Exhaustion, Rising Waters, Mana Vapors, yes i did just do a search on "don't Untap" in an MTG searcher (not gatherer) and most of those cards were Blue, though white did have the creatures don't untap stuff
Ah, I stand corrected, sorry. I guess you're right :).
Still, remember, they're shifting around the color pie. Yosei is a good example of that.

I get what you are saying, but i think that sandstrom was named so to bring up thoughts of "nature's wrath".
Horoki is just one unautral dude. Just picture this: There is a bleak and drought ridden land, the wind rises and picks up the barren dust from the desolated fields.... I don't know about you, but i am getting an Evil White vibe here

but you're right.. even if it looks similar than the tornado elemental.. the dust is more white related.. grasslands and such (tornado elemental.. those things in real life happen mostly around plain lands (white).. and weather is usually blue related.. but the elemental is green.. and even the tornado itself is a green enchantment)

Hmmm... That's really interesting... I was just wondering why they wouldn't have a patron for humans, then started thinking that a patron for humans would have to be a 5colour gold card. This would also explain the "Mana cost includes color" in the offering reminder text, since off colours wouldn't be an issue for the other patrons since all their creatures fit into one colour... I know it's highly speculative, but it's my two cents anyhoo... Any other guesses on this supposed gold card?
i heard about the gold card somwhere else too, but dismissed it since no one else evern mentioned it anywhere. perhaps it IS seshora, lotus keeper:D
i actually hope not...i want somehting cooler. if there is ONE in the set seshora doesnt seem like the right card...
also, the cover art for scrye...im almost POSITIVE that is the art for final judgement. its o-kagachi unleashing his wrath upon an army of ppl
Well, first of all, they won't do Patron for Humans. They said that Human is still a new creature type and not everybody got used to it, so they will avoid printing cards that would specifically mention Humans for some time - at least until Nine Edition comes out, I think.
As for "Mana cost includes color," you must understand that there are some off-color cards.
True, there are no off-color Moonfolk, Foxes, and Rats, but there are nonred Goblins (Festering Goblin, Goblin Replica, and Goblin Turncoat) as well as some multi-colored ones (Goblin Legionnaire, Marsh Goblins, Razorfin Hunter, and Scarwood Goblins).
There are nongreen Snakes - Ophidian, Python, Ribbon Snake and Zombie Boa (and Fire Snake, Skeletal Snake, and Zodiac Snake if you include Portal sets), as well as some multicolored ones (Mystic Snake and Voracious Cobra).
Finally, there are various Mistform creatures (most notably Mistform Ultimus), many type-changing cards (mostly from Onslaught block) etc. etc.
If there's one multi-colored card, I would like it to be five-color. Too bad Patron of the Kami would be probably unsound for flavor reasons...

Dude, a giagantic duststorm spirit does not sound the least bit White to you?
But, it takes a heckofalot of power to impress seirious players, and it probably won't make the cut.
