This isn't gonna be to good for T2 but I think ninja decks are gonna be awesom for Block I'm building one and I thought that Samurai were cool sigh so young so Niave anyway I think that I'm defently gonna build a Ninja deck now also I think that other ninjas might see a place in T2 like I don't know the U/G control might like the Bouncing Shinobi guy thats always fun right
No this is definitely a Jhonny card. It is not quite fast enough, or efficient enough for competitive play, especially since the deck would need lots of creatures, and this is too slow for a blue aggro deck. People will still try decks with this though, and it WILL be a draft bomb. i mean at the worst it is a :3mana::symu::symu: for a 3/4 unblockable creature that costs a turn to keep on the table. And 3 power unblockable guys are normally pretty good, he'd be much better as a 4/3, but still good for limited, and in the right deck, he could be GODLY.

I love that all these people are dissing the ninjas when we've seen a grand total of 4...
As for the flavor rant...
Mistblade Shinobi- Hits the opposing player, then knocks out one of the henchmen and drags them into a corner... hand... w/e
Ninja of the Deep Hours- Just like it shows on the card: Hit them, and steal their stuff. If they wanted to make it even more flavorful, it'd be "Whenever Ninja of the Deep Hours deals combat damage to a player, you may put the top card of that players library into their graveyard. If you do, draw a card." ~since that takes up a lot of room, I usually use "Sabatoge- Mill 1, Draw a card." Higure, the Still Wind- The second part is easy: he's holding a smoke bomb. As for the Sabatour ability, I'm not entirely positive. I'm thinking a "horn of gondor" type of thing- the ninjas see the smoke and rush to the scene.
Personally, I see this making an impact on Samurai's as much as Godo did.
It will good for casual and limited maybe, but if ninja decks do spawn out into the metagame, I fear this will be to slow or mana intensive for the deck.
EDIT: Oh noes my first post~!!!!~1~1!1 :imu::imu::imu:

Godo costs 6 mana to cast. That is quite a lot, even for casual decks. However, 4 mana is quite reachable. And when you see him it is already too late... (wel, almost ;))
I hope there is some free Ninja bounce in there. Just to help the blocked Ninja escape.

This is true, however his CMC is 5, more specifically UU3 and if your opponent is aware of the fact your playing a ninja deck(as they probably will be seeing as there aren't many U aggro type decks) it will be harder to get an unblocked creature through. Not to mention it still dies to a number of creature hate spells.
Perhaps the goal of a ninja deck should not be to depend on your opponent to let a creature go through unblocked, but rather to build the deck with plenty of evasion so that your opponent has no choice in the matter.
At any rate I think Higure is going to be a real fun card in casual...ninjas + morph + lots of untapped islands = annoyed opponent
Edit: Having examined the picture closely, it looks like poor Higure has managed to catch his left foot on whatever he was trying to clear. He's not leaping...he's free falling!

Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

Higure- What can I say? It's a ninja legend. That automatically makes it cool. As for the abilities, they aren't bad and could lead to some fun casual stuff. Oh and it's also quite good in limited as well.
Cool stuff. Can't wait to see tomorrow's card now as well...
Dang, only 3:symu::symu: mana (or :symu::symu: for Ninjitsu)? It has the capabilities to be a great card, we just need to know more ninjas.
I guarantee that if I get this in the prerealese, I'm going U/B ninja. I doubt anyone would be willing to trade it, but I may still make a ninja deck anyway. Great cards.
yep, and we even have a cheap evasion to get the ninja in play... Cutthrote -sp?- so ya, great in limited, casual and draft...

I don't understand the flavor though. How does a ninja find other ninjas by damaging someone?
And the art sucks for a ninja lord. I mean the art is cool, but for a legendary ninja? Bleh.
