I didn't see most of those cards before....lol.
I usually notice scans more easily.
I bet people are beginning to come around to defender, as it can allow for more interesting 'walls'.

I love those reprints! It is so fun ripping your opponents cards from their decks! This entire set is becoming my favorite with every new tidbit of info.
Great find!!! Thanks!

"Talkin outta turn....That's a paddlin'. Starin' at my sandals....That's a paddlin'. Paddlin' the school canoe....You better believe that's a paddlin'!" --Jasper
Opal-Eye... If the picture is from that card, it is a Kitsune after all, not a snake.
I was just about to say it :D. I remember the "Kitsune or Orochi" discussion when we saw this pic on the booster for the first time. This is a beautiful art, fitting for a bodyguard.

Blue seems to be getting a few decent creatures this expansion. I doubt we'll see monoblue for a while in constructed, but blue is definitely getting a little more muscle. Too bad it's still so weak though.=/
I think it means to remove a blue card from your hand to counter the spell with the same casting cost as the one removed... if you're using the alternative cost.

i love the flavor of the ki-flippers. They're the real "Betrayers" - mortals who cast so many Arcane spells (the magic of the spirits) that they become spirits themselves. Mechanic-wise, the blue one revealed here, Callow Jushi (which reminds me of Mallrats :skull1: ) is pretty freakin' good. Stack up a bunch of counters on it, then flip it at your leisure for a bunch of free mana leaks with legs.
Ah yes. Now i get it.
Dont let the hipe get into you, we're still waiting for the mass artifact bounce scan. Chances are, standard will still be pretty much boring.

am i the only one refreshing magic websites while looking at porn and eating fruit loops at 2 in the morning?...i feel so alone...
......WTF????....... I don't even know what kind of warning you deserve for this....
Check out the maw on Patron of the Kitsune. Throat Slitter looks kind of like the art for Ink Eyes that has been floating around. Day of Destiny is pretty sweet . . . and I'm liking the Callow Jushi, too.
Only if your opponent is playing mountains, which means it's definitely not worthy of being played in an LD deck...
If your opponent is playing mountains, you win. If your opponent is not playing mountains, you get a ball lightning. I wouldn't mind adding a card to my LD deck that totally raped any opponent playing red I face.

New Webcomic -- Genocide Man Life is funny. Death is funnier. Mass slaughter can be hilarious.
Disrupting Shoal is extremely clever. Finally, a "free" counterspell that's not overpowered or underpowered.
Looking forward for the rest of the cycle!
Yeah, the scans aren't working now. I just realized because I was trying to get the card numbers off them and realized it isn't working for some reason...
It was working just five minutes ago, so maybe the site hosting it is just having some issues right now?
I think I exceeded the bandwith... Sorry, but i guess you'll have to view it later...
EDIT: the card numbers are as follows
Patron of the Kitsune 19/165
Callow Jushi 31/165
Disrupting Shoal 33/165
Sway of the Stars 54/165
Throat Slitter 88/165 (not very clear, looks like 88 to me)
Genju of the Spires 105/165 (same case as above)
That's all.
Genju is going to be a lot of fun in casual...
