Four more cards from a trustworthy source! Just filler creatures, though... sorry!
Ogre Recluse - Creature - Ogre Warrior (U) Whenever a player plays a spell, tap Ogre Recluse. 5/4
Probably junk! I don't think the high stats (+1/+1 over the common Order of the Sacred Bell) justify such a nasty drawback. Doesn't work along with haste creatures, gets messed up by opponents who have instants, will never be able to block, etc. *yawn*
Ogre Marauder - Creature - Ogre Warrior (U) Whenever Ogre Marauder attacks, it can’t be blocked this turn unless defending player sacrifices a creature.
3/1
3/1 for 3 mana is pretty standard, and if you consider it unblockable, that makes it playable. But it's not truly unblockable - the opponent has a choice in the matter. And when you give the opponent a choice, the card loses it's potency. Limited playable and that's about it, IMO.
*nods off for a second* Ooops, sorry, these cards are making me tired.
Scourge of Numai - Creature - Demon Spirit (U) At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 2 life if you don’t control an Ogre. 4/4
Wow, exciting, huh? Looks like they copied a card from Champions and changed a couple of the numbers around. *falls asleep*
*wakes up* Oh, sorry, you wanted to see the fourth card.
Takenuma Bleeder - Creature - Ogre Shaman (C) Whenever Takenuma Bleeder attacks or blocks, you lose 1 life if you don’t control a Demon. 3/3
OOOOOOOOOH! Now this is interesting! It's a 3/3 for 3, with a drawback, and - *falls asleep again*
I actually like Ogre Marauder, especially in limited. It has the ability to 2-for-1, and with the threat of Ninja, there are many possibilities. Probably not T2, but perhaps in the right block deck.
I disagree about Ogre Marauder. He's got great stats for a creature that's hard to block, and his ability means that most of the time he'll be a two-for-one when he's blocked... I hear two-for-ones win games. I agree he's not a Constructed powerhouse (maybe in Block, but that would be it), but the guy is probably one of the top cards in Betrayers Limited, easily better than Nezumi Cutthroat.
Spock is not portrayed correctly. If Vulcans are above petty emotions, what motivates him to join the most elite starship crew in the galaxy? I, on the other hand, have transcended the weakness of emotion and achieved a blissful lack of caring. Apathy is my strength, our strength, which prevents us from being all-to-human. In this spirit, may Meh be with you, always.
Some okay cards for my Demon Deck. The 4 drop Demon is important.

Random RnD Guy: OO lets make a new RED RARITY SYMBOL!
MARO: OMGWTFBBQ! Thats a great idea, we'll call it Mythic Rarity!
Gleemax: NOT AGAIN! CELEB
This all looks like needed filler to improve the demon ogre relationship. I like the uncommon 4/4 demon. These all seem agressively costed so they aren't bad. Not exciting, but useful chaff in limited.
for commons and uncommons these cards aren't so bad (some of them are better in relation to their rairty than some of the rares we've seen so far [hero's demise comes to mind...]) and they fit in with wotc's desire to print tribes cards for people who are into that sort of thing. they're all fairly decent limited cards so long as you control an ogre and / or a demon (depending on the card). and the potential 2-for-1 aspect of the 3/1 is interesting.
Ogre Recluse - :3mana::symr: Creature - Ogre Warrior (U) Whenever a player plays a spell, tap Ogre Recluse. 5/4
This one is completely fine in an agressive limited deck since for them to prevent him from attacking they have to use their instant spell before you declare attackers, so that likely wastes whatever spell it was (Indomitable Will, Kodama's Might, etc) rather than use on you in surprise. Most likely you weren't planning on blocking too much with him anyway.
Ogre Marauder - :1mana::symb::symb: Creature - Ogre Warrior (U) Whenever Ogre Marauder attacks, it can’t be blocked this turn unless defending player sacrifices a creature.
3/1
Most of the time it'll be a 2 for 1 which is certainly quite fine for its cost.
Scourge of Numai
- Creature - Demon Spirit (U) At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 2 life if you don’t control an Ogre. 4/4
This one is more just to fill in the mana curve for a casual Demon/Ogre deck.
Takenuma Bleeder - :2mana::symb: Creature - Ogre Shaman (C) Whenever Takenuma Bleeder attacks or blocks, you lose 1 life if you don’t control a Demon. 3/3
This one is most certainly playable as it's drawback isn't that bad.
What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.
Nooooooooooo!! What in the name of all that is unholy have they done to the demons?!? For the love of..... At this point, I really wish they didn't bring back the type at all...
What were demons before the blasphemy that began a couple years ago? They were big black creatures that demanded payment (usually sacrifices) each turn or they hurt you. Badly. (Note that Mold Demon is a Demon like a Catfish is a Cat). What are they now? Bad reprints of Djinns (Grinning) and cowering 3/1 idiots who fear ogres.
This is just upsetting. It's like making a bunch of 1/2 common non-flying angels who are sacrificed if you don't have wizards in play. GRRRRRR......
:wierd1:
And yes, the cards are just crap, no matter if they are demons or not. And that makes it even worse... Mold Demon looks good to these guys.
Edit: Ya, the 3/1 is an all powerful ogre, the amazing masters of demons. But even the 4/4 that can be tamed by a Grey Ogre irks me to no end.
Who cares? Has anyone noticed that a 3/3 for 3 with no drawbacks isn't too great? A 3/3 for 3 with drawbacks is aweful.
We are not talking about constructed here, we are talking about limited. That is where a 3/3 for 3 realy shines. I could see this shine in a R/B draft deck as a solid beater.

Battle doesn’t need a purpose; the
battle is its own purpose. You don’t
ask why a plague spreads or a field
burns. Don’t ask why I fight.
These could be good in limited, but thats about all. I mean they are all pretty solid beaters in limited, but if you cant keep control of the game, you better hope they die, and dont get caged by hands.

nothing special, the "unblockable" one is interesting though. It seems like it's worth (card-advantage-wise) at least one opposing creature if not two. That is certainly is nothing at which to sneeze. (wow.... silly dangling prepositions; can't end with "at" :-p )
The first one is comparable to Hulking Cyclops. I'm not even sure if that's good as I don't play play 888 drafts or anything, but it seems pretty strong to me. And keep in mind that even though he gets a serious drawback compared to the equally-costed Sacred Bell, keep in mind that he's in red, which doesn't have anywhere near the same creature quality (vis a vis fatties) as Green. He'll be awful against tricky U/W splice-filled decks, but pretty good against opposing beatdown strategies (racing).
Ogre Marauder is strong, being a pretty much an automatic two-for-one, failing any opposing Frostwielders/Frostlings. Especially being that he's in a ninja color, his unblockable ability is will prove a real pain. Much better than Bloodspeaker.
The demon is a bad Grinning Demon, not really too impressive but he's got the right numbers -- a 4 toughness body is where you want to be at in Limited. If you've got some demon-ogre synergy going you'll be happy to have him, but otherwise, pretty useless.
The last guy is pretty strong, a 3/3 for three is never bad, and his drawback is comparitvely minor. He beats all the bears and lives to tell about it. He'll replace Villainous Ogre nicely (as in, he'll be your V. Ogre for pack 3.)
These arent so bad. Sure, they are all kinda drawback-y. But, they are all decent sized creatures. And they all help perpetuate the demon/ogre stereotype in both limited and block. For limited- The uncommon mini-grinning isn't terrible even without ogres, and makes your devoted ogres and villainous ogres better. The 3/3 for 3 isnt terrible, kinda reminds me of embalmed brawler. And the 3/1 for 1BB is insane in B/R aggro in limited. Pretty much the only way to take it out is to trade 2 for one, and if they don't it lands 3 a turn and can easily turn into a ninja from your hand. Great side-by-side with nezumi cutthroat and backed up by other two-power creatures (cruel deceiver, akki raider, hearth kami, etc).
