From a trusted source who came with me from the old URL. Nothing too exciting but it's another card for the partial spoiler!
Shimmering Glasskite -
Creature - Spirit (C)
Flying
Whenever Shimmering Glasskite becomes the target of a spell or ability for the first time in a turn, counter that spell or ability.
2/3
The card might be a boring little common, but let's celebrate having these new boards! What a site for the community! The hacks are all being done and the front page will be up soon... nothing fancy at first, of course. But what matters is we have some really solid forums to rumor around in.
Oh wait, here's another from the same source.... in a different message. People should learn to put everything in ONE message, you know!
Forked-Branch Garami -
Creature - Spirit (U)
Soulshift 4, Soulshift 4 (Whenever this card is put into a graveyard from play, you may return up to two target Spirit cards with converted mana cost of 4 or less from your graveyard to your hand.)
4/4
Forked-Branch Garami -
Creature - Spirit (U)
Soulshift 4, Soulshift 4 (Whenever this card is put into a graveyard from play, you may return up to two target Spirit cards with converted mana cost of 4 or less from your graveyard to your hand.)
4/4
This is COOL!!!!!!!!! I hope this isn't the only one.
Yeah, B/G spirits seems to be the next tournament deck to see play after raffinity goes to the retirement home of the 'ole decks of yonder. B/R migth see some major play as well, though it's hard to tell without knowing everything that's coming out yet. Oh well, time to start making a story involving the " 'Ole Decks of Yonder" retirment home.=P
The Garami will be insane in limited. You have an efficient 4/4 that if it dies could cause even more problems by replacing itself with 2 more potentially powerful craetures. What do you do when you are being beat down by this after finally getting rid or a pair of Kabuto Moths?
Theses glasskited could bring about a new draft archetype much like Nick Eisel's back-up plan on starcitygames. Just some trashy blue white flying deck with a lot of stall in, it could happen.

I like the Glasskites. If there are enough of them, they could form the basis of a blue 'Skies'-like deck using Glasskites and equipment. Sure, the first time you try equipping a Bonesplitter on them will fail, but you just pay 1 mana to do it again.

If you're going to go that route, you might as well use some 0-equip-cost equipment light Lightning Greaves or Grafted Wargear.

awesome. i have been meaning to make a soulshift deck for so long now. ill finlaly do it once i get some garamis. thats pretty neat. i cant wait to see what else they bring out for soulshift in BoK
Double soulshift? sweet! I'll just say right now that I would have never thought of something like that, and R&D rocks for expanding the range of a mechanic.
As for the glasskites, they are going to be a pain to deal with in limited, especially if you have some rainshapers on your side.

I love the Forked-Branch Garami! Pure card advantage for spirit decks. I am hoping that we will see a strong 4cc spirit for either black or green in this set! The thought of retrieving two Thiefs of Hope with this bad boy brings a smile to my face.
Shimmering Glasskite- A 2/3 flyer for 4 isn't a bad deal in the slightest for this limited format. Adding on the fact that it's nigh-unkillable outside of combat (Or at least leads to serious card disadvantage for your opponent) makes it quite a nice common pick.
Forked-Branch Garami- Oh geez. That's card advantage out the wazoo. Besides the fact a 4/4 body is quite good in limited right now (especially for only 5 mana), the double soulshift ability makes this thing quite good. It will easily be a high pick in draft...
This are really cool. They will be good in draft, but I doubt they will get played elsewhere
The Forked-Branch Garami seems like it's cool... I can't help but think someone is going to break spirits. I mean, the last few blocks Wizards has blatently told us what deck to build Tog/Madness, Goblins, Affinity, but Spirits? Their Forcing it down our throats with spiritcraft that and soulshift this... I bet once BoK is out Spirits will be better... and by SoK it may be powerful.
What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.
both seem good in limited. the first one is basically untargetable, which is good. admittedly, the second one is better, but even so, the first one's ok. I don't like that they said the same keyword twice, though. It'd be cooler, IMO, if there was a new keyword that was "double soulshift" or something.

Curisosity Kills...
Common 2/3 for 3U (If it cost U it would ruin the point/value of Flying Men)
Uncommon 4/5 for 4UU
Maybe a Rare.. something like a 6/7 for 7-9?
Double soulshift is cool.. I bert it'll look weird on a card.

The thought of a text box being completely overrun by hoardes of "Soulshift X" makes me smile. Go Betrayers!
