Use tricks to put a Myojin into play without a divinity counter, then put a divinity counter on it for some fun...

not to be overly picky, but do you mean "weird" to be "wierd"? I'm just trying to figure out if thats a type or if they're just being wierd by making a creature type thats really wierd because its a misspelled wierd.
Like KPDaly said, this is a stud in Limited. First pick. First pick of first picks, probably. Woe be the one who draws an opponent having one (or more) of these on Prerelease Day.
A few things noone's talking about. This allows for reanimation of the myojin (since you can put counters on them). There's waay too much artifact hate going on for anything to be viable with this in Type II, but maybe Block? Infinite Wraths/Infinite 'Geddon.....that could make for something with possibilities?!
A solid card in limited ... especially in draft. something indestructible is always troublesome. there is little artifact-removal in CHK environment (Wear away, Hearth Kami, Terashi's Grasp, one more in bok?) and most of them dosnt worth to main-deck-in.
Give it 5/5.
Construct... lessr playable. 5 mana-4 active ToooooO slow.
Hey, maybe we can see it in Myojin-casual deck? (~Boom! ~Boooom!! ~Booooo~~oooom!!!!!!)
Well, I gotta say, part of me is SOOOOOOO loving this card right now!
Another part of me is bummed about it, only for the simple fact that I worked so hard to put together my uber-stupid Myojin / Energy Chamber / Giant Fan deck...
Ah well, either way, I think you should, first and foremost, play it when you can use it on itself to make sure it doesn't get popped the second it hits play...

The best part is "Hahn klopfen ein weißes Geschöpf das Sie steuern: Fügen Sie Grünes oder Blau Ihrer mana Lache hinzu." since that translates to something like "rooster clap a white creature which you steer: add a green or blue to your mana puddle".
The wording of the second sentence bothers me.
-If the "Each permanent w/ divinity counter" is a separate ability, then your "divine" creatures are only as indestructible as it (i.e. when it goes away they become destructible again despite their divinity counters).
-If it is part of the ability that puts the counter on, then why say "each". It would say something like "that creature is indestructible" or "that creature is indestructible as long as it has a divinity counter on it". The only way I can think for this to make sense is if it is following the same pattern as the poison creatures and is actually reminder text for a new rule... but then the myojin don't make sense as they would have made the rule then...
I'm not saying it's fake or i don't believe it; just unclear
The first case makes more sense, and then it is just a slight transcription error.

um you can't do that it says "target permanent other than That Which Was Stolen"
I assume that this is the (story spoiler ahead) big stone statue thing from the story that Konda had (and later Toshi). (end spoiler) Cool stuff. While it's not the most practical card, it's still looks fun and may have its uses in limited formats. Indestructible is always a good thing...
And yeah, I know white isn't invisitext. Works fine for this though.
if it's true.. then it seems to be an improved version of oblivion stone
i mean.. the old one destroyed everything without the counter.. but.. the new one is somewhat better... it just let's the one with the counter have greater chances of staying in play..

That is what I would assume as well. It fits together perfectly with the information presented in Outlaw.
No, making any given permanent indestrucible isn't a massive mistake.
No, causing 90% of removal to become utterly irrelevant isn't a huge error in judgment.
Hmm... Absolutely limited only, after all, if That Which Was Taken is destroyed, all those divinity counters don't have any effect anymore...
Do they? That's an interesting point to bring up. If the card is printed as stated, then yes, the counters are useless. But if that part is actually just reminder text, then the permanents remain indestructible. But, there's not that much artifact kill in CHK, so it shouldn't come up too often.
holy! multiple indestructable cards of any sort!
wow, horrid name, yes, but that one of it's few drawbacks (kind of expensive.) but a card with a nice card with a bad name is better than a bad card.
since it is an artifact, and came after mirrodin, artifact hate will most likely make a victim of this card. but you have a chance to get at least 1 divinity counter on it. T&N will probably use this card most as they can 9 mana out in a few turns, and with 9 mana, 1 indestructable creature is almost guarenteed.
I give this: :kittybread::kittybread::kittybread::kittybread: out of 5.
Narrow use? Indestructability is always useful if you have a creature. At the very least you get a uber-blocker, and if active for a few turns you have an unstoppable army.
This could chalk up some fun in multi-player free-for-all in casual, which is pretty much all that I play. It really is too costly to be really effective elsewhere, but that's no big deal. Our games tend to last more than seven turns, and makes for very fun circumstances as far as what you can get out before everyone turns on you :).
Mmmmm . . . reusable Myojin of Cleansing Fire. Sweet.
Anyway + That Which Was Taken = Indestructable :kittybread:!!!

But I disagree about the name. There is so much flavor in this card. It's absolutely beautiful, in my opinion. Too shiny...

If you Tooth out the Myojin it won't get a divinity counter.
With this card, you can reuse the effect of the Myojin's for casual play, but still not for tournament-caliber decks.
I think it was implied that he would use That Which Was Taken to put the counter on the White Myojin.
As far as That Which Was Taken, I would like to get my hands on it but of course I like a lot of things because I'm a johnny player at heart.
