Looks too techy for me. I'm fine with the way it is. The only thing I want is for MTGO to blink in the taskbar if I have it minimized if anybody messages me. I always forget about it.
Perhaps in 3.0 they will have an option to have a skin that resembles the 2.0, for the people that don't like the new look.
Yeah the Wizards.com boards went down earlier today and have stayed that way. I didn't think to copy them. Serves me right for trusting wizards.com to be functional :dead:
Here ya go:

Looks too much like Battlegrounds, so it can only suck. The interface now is really good already, I just think people want more server stability and probably bug fixes.

If you look at the wishlist stuff on the wizards boards, there's a *lot* of stuff that MTGO players want whichisn't currently there. Bug fixes and stability I'll agree with you ( ) , but there's so much more functionality they could build in, it's silly.
Justin Ziran's been quoted as saying that they are paying as much if not more attention to the interface and server stability than they are to the new look and new features. WotC's going to do it right this time.
I wish they would improve the image of the cards... :puke: They are horrendous!!
I do think the new design looks pretty good though. It reminds me of playing online at Gamespy Arcade or something similar like that. Although it won't make any bit of difference, because I'll never play with Magic the Gathering Online. Why? Wizards only accepts credit cards!!! I really wish they would accept Pay-Pal. Doesn't that seem practical? I'm sure they would get more businees that way. :whatever:

My weakness is I care too much.
"For every heart that finds a love, there is a heart that cries.
For every dream that is re-born there is a dream that dies.
For every day in sunlight, there is a day of rain.
For every hour filled with joy there is an hour of pain.
For every smile upon a face there is a tear to cry.
For every fond hello we say there is a sad goodbye."
Its rather meh.. it looks like the game interface of a 5 year old game.. its not very interesting at all.. I would play MODO only if it was free.. I dont like paying money to play online..

I'm not sure I like that new look. I don't play MODO anymore but technically you don't have to pay to play. You just have to pay for the cards/packs you buy. Its really not that bad though especially when you want to draft. Its pretty easy (or at least used to be) to spend hardly any money other than inital packs if you just do booster drafts. As long as your are good enough the prizes and cards you drafted just pay for you next draft themselves.
Alkthough I do play MTGO for certain reasons, I'm not going to belabor people about how good I think it is and without a doubt get involved in a flame war over it.
There are two types of draft on MTGO
1: 8-person 8-4-0-0 prize queue (only the winner of the draft and the person he beat get anything)
2: 8-person 4-3-2-2 prize queue
keeping in mind it "costs" 3 booster packs and two event tickets to enter, one can indeed live off your drafting if one is good enough, especially on the special events where they nix the entry tix requirement.
just my thoughts
Cheers

I am in a similiar boat. It looks very cool but it does not make me want to buy it!
For those with slow connection like me:

but then again i'm not terribly impressed with modo, period.

The interface looks like a totally crapped down... something?
It's terrible... Not to mention, they want people to pay for it...
