Oh man that first one looks like Konda just wiggin out! I don't really know what wiggin means but It sounds nice. It also appears we are getting a cycle of Horse Dragony things. There were alot of people on horses too...OMG Its a horse set!!! Horsemanship is coming back my sisters friend's uncle who worked for the janitor who now serves lunch at R&D told me.
P.S I'm kidding...or am I?

Hee, that giant glubbin' thing pandafarmer posted (might wanna spoiler tag that BTW, some people don't appreciate huge pics gumming up their dial-up speed) totally looks like Frank, only Frank didn't have a big slug body or a bunch of swords and whips and stuff. But the head is totally Frank. Funny catch, Hydro. Hee.
i agree, the Kirins are just stunning. though the white one looks a little crummy in my opinon. he seems a little too abstract in comparison to the blue and black ones.
The first and third pics of Rancored's post look quite similar. Figure with glowy ball and zippy energy circling them. Possibly a cycle? Probably a cycle of enchantments and instants/sorceries, of which we have the images from the white (old man with orange ball) and black ones (creepy guy with green lantern-ball thing).
Also note the zombie/ogre/whatever guy we've had for a while, who is also carrying a lantern like object.

Yeah, I noticed that, too, but that guy doesn't seem to have the same zippy energy blipping around him. Plus that art seems to be more fitting of a creature while the other two seem to focus more on the glowy ball of energy in each piece (indicating a non-creature spell to me). I think the guy you're pointing out just happens to have a lantern. A lot of this block has lanterns in the art. It's kind of a motif.
Every time I destroy an opponent's creature, I jump on the table, yell "Boo ya, you son of a *****!", rip the card in half, urinate on it, then forcefully shove it down my opponent's throat.
Needless to say, I don't have many players in my playgroup anymore.
The Lion: Nice find with the Pack and Poster. It says Previews Start in May if i translatied right.
The "Horses" cycle is going to be cool. We have The Black,Green And Blue one's. The one on the box is most likely RED since it looks like it's made of Steam or cold air from the mountains.

the Blue one can't be Hisoka, as he's a soratami. He's got the long ears. I don't think the white one's Takeno, either. too old looking to me. The rest of them, I have no clue.
EDiT: I think that that nonwhite, nonblack Kirin is a Green one moreso than a Blue one.

I gotta say, your ability to judge how good a deck is at a glance is absolutely freakin' inspiring. I had no idea a player could be so good as to circumvent all need to test things out.
In the Betrayers Novel, Hidetsugu and his Yamabushi all but destroy Minamo, Killing Keiga, Hisoka and many students *easily:)* I don't recall any prominent Soratami biting it in the book, and I guess it doesn't have to be a story related character to be a legend now....
Man! Those zombie/demon guys with the lanterns and funny hats are creepy, I'm doubting it's a legend though, as other's can be seen wandering in the background, undoubtedy black!
the students of mianamono(sp?) might go on a vengence, there were olny 2 human wizards in bok and one of them turned into a spirt, and plus, whats up with that human/ Orachi combo dude at the place where minamano used to be?

Dunno why, it just does.
you do realize that Takeno is as old as Konda, right?
also, the list i posted is of prominent characters aligned with each color that have died that could've become a kami (as the information says)
if there is a black kirin, i want to see how wizards pulls it off. i dont see how a being associated with good will and good luck and like non selfish motives can be in black, the color of selvishness

I really think the guy who's energy objects appear to be dragon-esque skeletons crouching in a black mountain rangey thing is Konda. He's got the same beard, long hair (although now it's down, and black, but that's not that far fetched considering the area he's shown in here), he's wearing sandles, If you could see the top of his hat it might even have the konda insignia on it. that red banner/flag might very well be konda's banner as well. And somthing about his face just seems to be the same look that Konda has.

has a good upclose picture of konda if you scroll down. there's a lot of simliarities between the two art pieces.
eh i doubt it. just because they both have long hair and a beard doesnt mean they're the same. thats like saying mr. clean and ving rhames are the same because thier both bald and musclar.

this whole "konda is a spirit now" theory is wrong. Konda didn't die at the end of Betrayers, but he did wind up with a Spirit Army of dead Eiganjo soldiers.

you are probably right, it does seem that this art would point towards an undead warrior of some sort. but the banner, (which is very simular in looks to Konda's) would indicate that this particular undead warrior is somehow significant. he -does- look strikingly simular to Konda but i understand that makes very little sense. so i guess we'll see.

I can't wait for some actual cards to start popping up... But until then, let the speculation ensue!
Edit: Kinda reminds me of Donnie Darko (Frank), what do you think?
as for the people who died but returned in Kami form, there are only a couple that I can think of:
Hisoka (Blue)
Boss Uramon (Black)
Takeno (White)
Kobo (Red)
----- (Green)
If I remember correctly, 1 or 2 of them can be seen on the boxes for the preconstructed decks.
Also, if there are more than one Ki-rin artwork, I guess there's a whole cycle. One of them looks like a black Ki-rin.
