The whole spoiler issue poses an interesting question for WOTC. If they do not crack down very hard on leaks take onslaught for example, players who are serious about winning and becoming srtonger magic players by quickly adapting to the field are rewarded. (Like the public school system; the best student gets the resources). However, the gonzo timmy/johnny casual players get shafted at the prerelease because they might not be serious enough to memorize the spoiler. What the question basically boils down to is; how important is it to wizards to keep spike down and (subquestion) since the prerelease is supposedly unmarred by metagame and pick orders wouldn't this give more advantage to the spike-ish skilled limited player? Is it possible that spoilers are actually helping the prerelease enviornment by giving limited shmoes (like myself) a way to get up on the polished, hyper-skilled limited powerhouses?

-I don't wanna go on a RANT here but America's foreign policy makes about as much sense as Beowolf having sex with Robert Fulton at the first Battle of Antetum. I mean when a neo-conservative defenstrates it's like Raskalnakov filibuster dioxymonohydrostinate.
-What the hell does rant mean?
I must say Cube Drafting is Fun. Since its mostly the only drafting i do.
Attack step ok, oh wait i would like to cryptic command. im sorry its too late to do that.
you know, magazines do this all the time. they hyper something up and then *BAM!* nothing about it in the next issue. it might be for a few different reasons. inquest never got thier spoiler, something bigger came up, etc. etc. I seen it before in a magazine of EGM.

i like banning people because it makes people I don't like go away
of course we ARE talking about the magazine that did that Anime Magic joke article... they gave it front cover for gawds sake. is the gaming industry THAT boring for them that they have to pull pranks outside of April Fools? my respect for that magazine dropped 1000% when they did that.
I'm sick of all this bulls**@t man. People messing with our mind's and saying lies to everybody. One of the top reasons i joined this forum, was to get the spoiler before others, speculate in a healthy manner and debate about cards. I AM NOT HERE TO POST FAKES.
IF ANY MOD COULD IP CHECK THIS GUY, I WOULD BE SHURE THAT IS THAT GUY TINGLEPRICK, TANGLEBOB OR WHATEVER.
PEACE I'M OUT.
This is exactly the reason why nobody dares post their info anymore. People ar ebeing such jerks over this kind of stuff. If the person was wrong (and I'm right) than at least let him down nicely. Unless it was something like three fake cards at once, whatsoever.
Think before you speak. On News, when I posted the BOK Inquest Info just after it came out, some people were sceptical, but they knew better than to FLAME. And notice nobody cares about whatever you have contributed in the past in order to shove their flamethrowers at the person.

It's true, no one should ever be flamed for bringing us info, but if you're at all worried about the reaction of the Mill, I think it's best to PM your info to a mod, who can post it instead. Your info still gets out and you can be identified as the contributer afterwards once the crowd is sure to not be recklessly flamey. Or you can deliver your info on your own. There are those here who remember your contributions in the past, I'm one of them.
I wouldn't take it personally, it looks to me as if a lot of people here don't have much experience in the spoiler game so they're quick to jump in and scream faker or praise the 'real' info without any logical thought into it. Thank you for your contribution, it is appreciated, even if there are those who don't seem to think so.

While I appreciate the position you were in for a moment or two there when there was an ounce of doubt, I'd like to assure you that Ochlophobia does not speak for all of us, and I for one hope that you will continue to post and be part of the community this rumor season Emissary!
Tempers are running high with the lack of leaks this time around, while most of us understand it is beyond our control, please don't let the few ruin your Saviors spoilers experience, there's plenty of members like myself who are happy to have people along for this particularly peculiar ride...

Bingo! Flaming has been around even before Onslaught set was spoiled. It is a natural human reaction to be suspicious of information. I can't count the number of times some one has tried to pull a fast one on the rumor mill. Going through a mod (especially R. Elf) is a good option. One thing different than in the past is our number of respectiful and resourceful people. I know I miss Pwrchld.

A truly great petition
Well, they really shouldn't. Building up expectancies only to give nothing later is marketing suicide.
