Today, I bought the Hyper magazine Australia, and sitting right there, was a SOK card. None other than Oppressive Will. It is indeed called Oppressive Will.
I have attached a scan of the card.
If the english version has already been seen, I'm sorry. But I don't believe I have seen it anywhere yet.
I'll look in the magazine later, to see if there is any other mention of SOK.
Have Fun
Edit: There is also a two-page ad for Saviours, which I will scan for you guys later. Which you will now find attached. Note: the darkness on the left hand side is a result of my shoddy scanning

:grin2: Definetly part of the team Vexus Dude! You are most welcome, what a great find, and I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that we can't wait for those scans! or any new cards for that matter!
GOGO Saviors!
Edit: you may want to change the title of this thread to to something like: Saviors ad found in Hyper magazine!
We could've confirmed that easily with the orb. =\
Anyway, thanks for the scan!

I gotta say, your ability to judge how good a deck is at a glance is absolutely freakin' inspiring. I had no idea a player could be so good as to circumvent all need to test things out.
Nothing really "new" here but it's good to see - thanks! I guess we can agree now that "wisdom" simply refers to cards that are more powerful the more cards you have in your hand. So Maro was an old fashioned "wisdom" card, you could say.
There's been some discussion on this at the Orb thread, and I'm pretty sure we will!
Especially since they said there would be a never-reprinted card from Arabian Nights to get a fix this time around, right?
I say a new Library would be more likely as Maro is already balanced and does not suck. The new card based on one from the first sets hint might be towards a library.

Hehe, my thoughts exactly Mikey, it's always great to get more info from a different source than usual (in this case very different), and although it's something we have seen before, it's good to know Wizards is going about things in a different way this time, Aussie Mag Hyper? Now that's different.
In fact Mikey, I really have to agree with something you said a couple of days ago. You said it seems like Wizards is only doing the North American promotion of the game through 'Official' channels this time, instead of Scrye and Inquest. I got to say that it appears they're trying to flush out their leaks by eliminating the sources they feel may be responsible to an extent. We all know Inquest and Scrye receive the spoiler up to 6 weeks in advance on most occasions, and it seemed like a crazy coincidence that our biggest 'source' from Rancored decided to 'sit this one out'... perhaps they never got the spoiler in the first place (I.e Inquest or Scrye staff)? This would certainly explain the tedious rumor season we've experienced thus far, and would allow Wizards to more or less pin-point any 'leaks' in the future... very scary!!!
... now I fell like I'm being watched... time to take a shower me thinks
this is pretty cool, it is kinda sad though that we're not getting information, i just dont want to o into the prere completely blind, but im almost getting happy that they are trying to keep the cap on the set this time. If we dont no all the cards it could be very cool to watch everyone scramble to find out what cards are godd while they're at the prere.
like i said before though, im pretty much just watching as everything unfolds, if we get the spoiler though, i might almost be kind of dissapointed, but then again im really stupid so why are you even reading this.

Not that I want to turn this into a debate over whether or not we're going to get the spoiler in time, Because we will definetly have it, I'm quite interested in people's thought's on just the general approach by Wizards this rumor season.
Sure getting info early on a set *may* take a little of the suspense out of the prerelease, but is that the real point of stopping leaks? So what if we're privy to info mere weeks ahead of the PR, what *Real* difference does it make to their coffers ($$$$) if a set is known before the PR??? It'll sell well regardless of when the spoiler was completed, and early revealling doesn't make a set any more or less likely to be a good seller...
Also, at the prerelease, there's only limited product from an expansion anyway... I think they (Wizards) may have gone a bit overboard on this one, time will tell whether or not they've achieved whatever it is they set out to do.
Sure, give out info to mags like Hyper, and Lotus Noir (Our only real info), but why miss the real key one's like Scrye and Inquest? I gotta tell you, if the person responsible for Saviors marketing was working for my design company, they'd be fired, Donald Trump style.
*Hydro prays Wizards haven't gone completely mad and hopes to see MEGANE and his mag info soon*:halo:
I'm guessing we'll see a library that has a two, three, or even four mana price tagged onto the draw ability. That would make it pretty hard to use and more fair.
My take on this is pretty ambivilant. I honestly couldn't care less if we don't see a single card before walking in the door in a few weeks. There was a time when every single piece of information desireable wasn't available within a moment's notice (the internet). I got by fine then, and I get by fine now.
Having said that, there is no denying my excitement level for this release is much lower than normal. I've been jazzed about every prerelease since I got back into playing, and I love this set, but for some reason I don't have much desire to go this time. I can speculate that this has something to do with the fact that, due to the dryness, I have lost almost all interest in checking this site for rumors, and hense am not even thinking about the set very much in general.
Sure getting info early on a set *may* take a little of the suspense out of the prerelease, but is that the real point of stopping leaks?
Maybe they just want to find out what the difference is.
In most businesses, leaking product info is considered a high crime (see Osbourne for the famous example, or Apple for more recent). But that is because it is virtually proven to kill sales of current products, as people hold off buying. Do Magic cards have the same issue? If you knew all the Saviors cards today, would you stop buying/playing? I know in my clan on MTGO, people slow down entering drafts and such to "save up for" the release event, and this is without actually knowing much about it.
Would MTG Salvation exist without the current policy?
I like that we finally got the english version of our first card.
I feel that Wisdom is going to be hand based since we just had a liabary effect with Scry in 5th dawn. Maro is a good way to go but I think that Wisdom will be like Amplilfy from Legions but with counters like Modular.

Or maybe less because it varies directly with phyrexian arena.
