I really like the idea of them just releasing the Original Duals, even if its just one of each. (though a playset would be better)
They are the reason Legacy is so hard to get into, sure there are a couple expensive cards here and there, but just like a T2 deck, you need 8-12 of the OG duals to get off the ground, and they are all basically 30 bucks each.
I even think the restricted list says they wont print and sell more of the card, but still retain the right to make as many promotional versions they want.
But like my Shocklands as MPR cards, this is just a pipe dream more then likely.
If anyone knows why G0-DRAW was banned I would love it if they would PM me. That guy was pure entertainment 100% of the time. Plus he never publicly responded to his Contraptions "Proof" that never panned out.
Ohhh its like fork and its blackbordered, its not going to affect standard.

Don't you see that the whole aim of Moderators is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make infractions literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed, will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten.

Most probably not. Neither did Traumatize nor Psionic Blast and yet they go for $10+
It's not always about how much the card affects any format, but about how "cool" the card is.
As for the box set... no idea. What could have real value for experienced players that won't go for new ones? It can't be old duals since new players could use them in casual or trade them for other newer good cards (as in, Standard legal cards). The only thing I can think is that the box IS the added value as older players do tend to accumulate tons of cards that end up everywhere (or in shoe boxes etc).

Traumatize = dollar bin rare. Not $10+.
You could be thinking of Glimpse the Unthinkable, which did for a while trade for a good bit even though it is terrible.
