In PT San Diego coverage, Aaron Forsyth talks about a card that says:
"Return a creature card in a graveyard to its owners hand".
I know it isn't HUGE news, but it is some news. He says that there will also be more cards that work in order to help your teammate in a format, such as 2HG.
This card is probably why Raise Dead is not in tenth. I wonder if the cost is the same as Raise Dead or more?
Prob. one more.

hey i have managed to evolve my axolotls by feeding them thyroid glands the thyroxine contained in these gland is enough to change these water dwelling creatures into land based creatures

Tay, that's not evolution. It's metamorphosis. Evolution means descent with heritable modification – individuals cannot evolve, unless they're Pokemon.

That's kinda cool, but what use could a card like that have in one on ones besides bieng a more costly Raise Dead?
Since Raise Dead is not in standard, it doesn't have to cost more.
Shatter has had 'strictly' better versions made, and it was still in standard. (now removed)

The card would not only serve to help teammates, but it slows down reanimator decks that don't have a continuous discard outlead and would need to rely on drawing another Gathan Raiders or Compulsive Research

I think it would be cool if they removed "target" from the rules text altogether. That way if one of your creatures gets RFG'd you'll still be able to take a guy back.
I think it would work rules-wise. It'd function similarly to Whitemane Lion's ability, where all the choices happen upon resolution.

It would say choose a creaure instead of target creaure.
It would be cool if it was an instant for 1B or something.

It will likely be a variant showcasing the set's mechanic or keyword.
