(further confirming no Fishliver Oil or Levitation)
To attempt to kill the 'sideset' discussion...why wouldn't it be mentioned in the players' guide, which is basically the entire spoiler of 10th edition?
Perhaps because it doesn't exist.

The inclusion of so many Mirrodin block cards makes sense to me. That environment was warped by Affinity & Tooth & Nail, so giving a lot of well designed cards a chance to play in a more stable environment is only fair. Not only that, but it's kind of exciting, too, since I think a lot of players view that time and some of those cards as truly missed opportunities.
I didn't think it was the job of the rumour mill mods to "kill" discussion on anything on-topic.
There's still at least one unanswered question, even if you assume the Oil and Levitation got yanked at the last second, and that piledriver was a misprint/mistranslation... there's still the issue of the paladin, and that's a pretty bloody big issue. It's either something underhanded or a monumental screwup that makes the 422 statements in the preview ads look like childs play.

Thanks for the scans. ^^
Things of note: Mind Bend got it's old Mirage art back. Wonderful! Denizen of the Deep. Who's that little baby over there? Jubububu! Ain't it the cutest thing? Discombubulate retained its old art. Boo. It's still not clear who's discombubulating who. Considering that this just might replace Rewind's slot in permission decks, they could've at least commissioned better art for it. March of the Machines. Old art. Boo. It's just bad. I'm not really against using old art--just use the good ones. Fog Elemental. This is the first time I noticed it's back. Never really locked onto it in the lists. I remember using this with Teferi's Veil back in the old days. I love that they retained the old art. Kinda like some funky tiki mask.
Well, can't have everything. I guess some art's gotta suck. Still pretty hot, overall.
I am personally impressed with R&D for this core set. They did a good job this time of trying to please us, and keep the game balanced. Plus, the set even looks kick ass, black boardered maybe a bad idea, but all in all, great core set, I even want to draft it.
I can't quite make out the flavour text on Evacuation, although I can tell that it's a statement made by Alexi, Zephyr Mage - anybody else see anything? Trying to see how they tied that piece of art to the card's mechanic.

I don't think it is that big of a deal, really.
As others have said, it is not an unprecedented mistake on WoTC's part.
