I actually laughed so hard at that last sentence I think I woke up my nieghbors.
Seriously, at this moment, I take everything spewed by MaRo and Forsythe with a grain of salt the size of a truck.
Nothing against you or your reasoning, I dont think its not from the next upcomming Magic related item, though what that item is could differ. Be it Lorwyn or the new Classic decks they are making or something different.
But WoTC at least to me, have made alot of mistakes, twisted alot of info and flipped on alot of critical and supposedly "New directions of Magic" (ala Birds of paradise, though Im not really complaining about that) that I cant really read too much into what they say until I see the cards.
If anyone knows why G0-DRAW was banned I would love it if they would PM me. That guy was pure entertainment 100% of the time. Plus he never publicly responded to his Contraptions "Proof" that never panned out.
Would you mind explaining to me how a fist and "They're coming" justifies planeswalker is a theme in lorwyn..
Are we even 100% sure that it was a poster for Lorwyn? I realize that it did say October, but since the set logo had long since been released, wouldn't it have been on the poster somewhere?

WotC has never spoiled a card that isn't a card. They've never used in advertisement a card that isn't a card. And they never start advertising for a set that isn't the next set to be released. With that in mind, we can be certain that Lilliana Vess is a card, and that it is from Lorwyn.

If your signature takes up more lines than your actual post does, you should fix one or both of them.

The full-page magazine ad is an obvious fake, because WOTC uses faulty grammar. The lines "Everyone Likes Elves. Or Goblins. Or Merfolk. Or Fairies. Or Treefolk. Or Elementals. Or Kithkin. Or Giants." should be written with "and"s instead of "or"s seing as it uses the universal "everyone". And it's full of sentence fragments. WOTC wouldn't use such grossly errant grammar unless they were trying to secretly tell us that the whole ad is false. There will be no elves, goblins, merfolk, fairies, treefolk, elementals, kithkin, or giants; there will be no planeswalkers. And I believe its evident that there will be no Lorwyn either.
It case some of you don't get BB's sarcasim, check this thread for the explainnation of the magazine ad and it's very creditable source. Go read it now!
As for the Bull/Minitor/Elemental thing. I say it's none of those. I think it's an aura. Maybe even a tribal aura. Look at it, vines and a shell covering up a wild beast which is allowing a bird to perch on it. It's totally a green pacifism type aura. I'm probably wrong, but it's just as likly as anything else.

If it's a green pacifism then I don't think it works very well considering that the bull is charging towards you!
There is definitely an indication of movement, between the sway of the vines backward and the lowered head that implies a straight charge.

Ok, seriously. We have ads, we have posters, we have confirmation. Do you what personal telegrams sent to each Magic player confirming planeswalkers?
