I was just at my local card store where the owner asked me if I had seen the new preview card for Lorwyn. He showed me a green Treefolk creature that had two abilitys. I can't remember the name, and he wouldn't let me take a picture. He thought he might get in trouble or something.
The abilitys were:
Whenever you play a land, (this) gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
Whenever you play a treefolk creature card, (this) gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
I'm really sorry that I can't remember anything else about the card. I don't want to just guess on the P/T because I know that I might get it worng and I don't want to give out any misleading information. I can tell you this is not a fake, I just saw it with my own eyes and I'm sure most of you will see a similar card this weekend if you're at your local shop. Wizards appears to have sent out a few of these for previews.
Anyways, If nobody else has seen this card by next weekend I'll try to get pictures to confirm.
Update: Got the rest of the info from my friend. I'm posting it to the first post here so people don't have to search through the pages to find my last post with this info on it.

In the MWS world, for many players, winning also makes you a noob.
The same applies to:
-Knowing the rules.
-Netdecking.
-Not netdecking.
-Using old versions of a card (yeah, it has hapenned to me: "Ugh... ugly pic noob")
-Knowing English.
-Using phases.
-Countering spells.
<@MarkRosewater> THis is a secret we've carefully guarded but for this chat I'm going to spill the beans.
<@MarkRosewater> Some cards in Magic are better than others.
<@MarkRosewater> Ssh, don't tell anyone.
sounds like this treefolk guy would be pretty solid in any green deck just for the +2/+2 effect of playing a land, and all the cards that let you play an extraland, sounds constructed worthy to me. The only prob is the manacost. DId it have an outragous mana cost or something reasonable?

I have a feeling the cost will be Bog Gnarr-ish, and the power/toughness will be around the same.

The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!
*crawl crawl*
Wait a minute, edible roaches don't crawl! EDIBLE ROACHES DON'T CRAWL!
Sounds cool, I am guessing this is the "promo common."
Said card always seems to be one of the best cards in draft. Ephemeron, Dead // Gone, Sprout Swarm...Blind Hunter was the Guildpact one...pretty funny trend!
If the casting cost to power/toughness ratio is even somewhat decent, then this card could be quite good in draft, where nearly half your deck is lands. Compare with Herd Gnarr, for example, and the trigger-effect is even better with this Treefolk. It also makes your lands not so much dead draws late in the game.
Interesting that it's a Treefolk Warrior. For some reason, that's kind of hard to visualize. I mean, just think about it. "Warrior" is not the first thing that comes to mind when one describes Treebeard the Ent.
That said, more evidence (besides the anagram in the Intimidator's name) that Boldwyr Intimidator is linked to Lorwyn, and that Lorwyn will have lots of Warriors, and maybe some Cowards too.
- Jon Finkel Facts: (follow the link at left to see more Facts, or add more Facts!)
- Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice—because he was trying to count how much damage Jon Finkel deals in an average game.
- Jon Finkel believes in maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. He gets all his fiber from eating Magic cards for breakfast, and all his protein from eating Magic players for lunch.
Umm... It's pretty hard to say if it's awesome, without stats... Right now, I'm underwhelmed. This isn't even comparable to, say, Guardian of Vitu-Ghazi. He could easily be fried at opponent's turn...
It's just because of their new policy. Check every Sliver we have - they mention sliver creatures, too. But if this treefolk would mention treefolk permanents, things would be much more interesting...
I'd imagine that if it was Treefolk permanent that we would see treefolk lands? Could this bring Dryad Arbor into being in either Lorwyn or Shadowfall?

Very believable, sounds like the standard promo common wizards send out.
The pump ability is strong but not broken and depending on the cc and p/t this could be a nice creature possibly even in constructed.
Given that it's a treefolk i'm guessing it costs 4 or 5 mana total and probably has double green in its cost making it cost 2GG or 3GG.
Treefolk almost always have a higher Toughness than power(by 1 or 2 points).
For 4 mana a 2/4 treefolk seems normal and for 5 mana a 3/5 seems normal, however the pump ability is to strong to not require neutering the p/t a bit so i'm guessing a 2GG with 1/2 or a 3GG with 2/3 would be the most likely costs and p/t's.
Dammit if only it were an uncommon and it could cost GGG instead of some crappy 3g. I wish they had preview uncommons as well. Hopefully, someone from around the world has got a scan of this. I'm off to peek around.
EDIT: No such luck. No sign on the net, unless someone that can speak foreign languages feels like scouring the net for something.
If it's well costed, and there are excellent treefolk cards to help it, I could see this becoming a Husk type support card in it's tribe. Very powerful!
My guess is it will be a 1/1 for 2GG. With that ability, +4/+4 every turn can be too deadly for an early game critter.
Yeah, should make sense, another 5/5 for 4cc. That's just good isn't it, for a common.

hey i have managed to evolve my axolotls by feeding them thyroid glands the thyroxine contained in these gland is enough to change these water dwelling creatures into land based creatures

Tay, that's not evolution. It's metamorphosis. Evolution means descent with heritable modification – individuals cannot evolve, unless they're Pokemon.

Preview cards usually have a block ability, or a set ability. Did it have a mechanic or keyword besides "I get fat when you do X"? Because that might be important to know...

I think this all but confirms just a little more that this set has tribal flavor.
(im in the club that things both the tribal card type and Planeswalker will show up in Lorwyn)
If you use Frank Karsten`s Online Tech to see how popular a specific deck is, I just made it twice as efficient. You`re welcome.

I guess its cc is about 4GG. It'll be pumped most of time, place a land and cast a treefolk, its +4/+4, if it's a 3/3, it'll be 7/7 beatdown creature.
This creature is really amazing, even not seeing it.

The card itself sounds like it'll be ridiculously overcosted, unfortunately.
