You know, I like the lands. The one elemental that counts as all creatures will make a great multicolor deck in conjunction with these lands. Plus I think that only the 5 color pairs will be in this mini-Block, and the 5 other pairs will be in the second mini block. I would quite possibly guess with the same tribes, but in a different flavor. Just my 2 cents.

MTG Junky... First packs being a starter of each 4th Edition and Ice Age. Good Grief, I've been playing since 1995? Where does the time go!

this is mtgs, where occam's razor is so blunt it can't cut jello any more.
Secluded Glen
Land
As Secluded Glen comes into play, you may reveal a Faerie card from you hand, if you do, Secluded comes into play untapped. Otherwise, it comes into play tapped

Hydro, are you sure of this templating? Look at Watery Grave:
As Watery Grave comes into play, you may pay 2 life. If you don't, Watery Grave comes into play tapped.
So the templating should be
"As Secluded Glen comes into play, you may reveal a Faerie card from you hand, if you don't, Secluded Gren comes into play tapped."
The reason I can think of that they wouldn't do that is the Champion mechanic. The summoned creature comes in to fight in the stead of the littler creature.
I think champion doesn't mean the bigger thing comes, but the smaller critter is made into a champion. Thus, the llanowar elf is championed, and is now a wren's run whatever. but if it leaves play, it's like the elf failed at it's position as a champion, and went back to being whatever kind of elf it was before.

The only evidence against this is that that's not what the word "champion" means.

B/R Gobs for the win. Satanic Sligh is looking to end up Boggart Sligh for the upcoming type 2 season. Thank the gods for Fanatic being reprinted as well. Now I need to go buy more rare lands.... -_-
Also, UB Teachings is going to be refitted for all this flash faerie nonsense- it fits a little too well. But I guess we'll see if the quality of faeries is high enough to run over the normal candidates.
Also, if an effect would normally put land into play tapped, would the posted wording of Secluded Glen let you bypass it and lay it untapped?
No, just like with farseek and ravduals. The card says tapped, so you can reveal a faerie card but the "land into play card (whatever it is)" overrides.
Elspeth "we must fight to protect order and justice!"
Tezzeret "No! he will break all my artifacts and stomp my head!"
Vol "powerful dragon must be brought to heel!"
Ajani "**** this Im outta *planeswalks to lorwyn* wow what hell is this place?"
Little lorwyn goblin "this be the place of bad art and Tribes!!!"
All other Alara planeswalkers "hey where did ajani go???"
No, just like with farseek and ravduals. The card says tapped, so you can reveal a faerie card but the "land into play card (whatever it is)" overrides.
The shocklands had a slightly different wording. Blood Crypt
Assuming that the wording Hydro gave us is accurate, I think that these lands do break the symmetry of Root Maze, although because they don't have land types (and aren't snow), that's the only situation I can think of.

My Tamanoa decklist (RGW), infuriating my brother since it's so junky!
