Clash an oponnent, then return ttarget creature to the hand of its owner's hand. If you win then put that creature at the top of its owner's deck .creature an (Each clashing player reveals the top card of his or her library then puts that card on the top or bottom. A player wins if his or her card had a higher converted mana cost)
The blue one is cool. The 10/2 guy is meh. The green elemental is very nice!
EDIT: The red elemental just got a lot better when I saw the amazing picture it have =D

Very good, it is this:
Whirlpool Whelm 1U Instant Clash with an opponent, then return target creature to its owner’s hand. If you win, you may put that creature ontop of its owner’s library instead. Common 96/301
w00t, a treefolk that has a decent attack, and it has flash, so it'll be at least a little tricky. It's like a treefolk giant growth for 1 more, or a 3/3 +Giant growth at the same mana cost. I like.
10/2 trampler for straight up four ain't bad. Elementals and treefolk seem to be getting a lot of love. I have a guess that Wizards wanted to make sure these tribes didn't suck, so they gave them a good power boost, seeig as how they have no previously established really god cards like goblins/elves.
a couple interesting limited cards and a really cool elemental.
It seems like R&D gets better at pushing power levels in the spots where they can with each set. I literally looked at that elemental and went,
"No way.
No, too easy - there are one mana elementals.
No, that's just too strong, it must have some other drawback.
But then again...maybe 6 damage for 4 mana after a turn...
if nothing burns it and there's no big blockers?
I guess it isn't that strong.
Wow. That's cool."

The elemental champion seems good with Smokeroller. You can power it out turn 3, have another mana available to play the Harbinger, Champion that, and go from there. Next turn, smash for a huge amount, and when it dies, harbinger another one up. Wash, rinse, repeat until dead.

The Elemental Champion is nice. I agree with the Pandemonium idea; this is a slightly better Force of Savagery since it can stick around a little longer
The treefolk is decent, if not great. 6/6 surprise blocker at least, and more after that
The blue card would be annoying... It's a bounce and draw mishap in one.... dangerous.
I don't see that elemental seeing any play outside of casual pandemonium decks. Unless of course there's an easier way to give your creatures haste than Emblem of the Warmind.
Nova Hunter: The two life makes it funny, and flavorful at the same time. Neato card. Accelerate into it and then champion the Smokeroller that cast it.
Bramble Horns: 6/6 Surprise blocker / Two mana giant growth / good enough body for mana cost.
Whirlpool Whelm: I'd love to combo this with that white, triggers on clash enchantment.
EDIT: The red elemental just got a lot better when I saw the amazing picture it have =D
I'm glad someone else noticed its kick ass art. I must have that wallpaper....soon...

(about the English language) It's kinda like a raft that was cobbled together from parts of three different boats and since then has been kept barely afloat with crude repairs every time a leak appeared.
We all figured the 10/2 would have Champion, but to have no other drawback is pretty cool. Go ahead and suicide him into your opponent's stuff, the guy you championed will come right back, and be set to block if need be. That's so very nice. Only problem is that the champion ability doesn't work too nicely with reanimation, but whatever. Oh, and it's flingable. Hopefully there will be something else to let us do that other that Brion.
But let's see how it curves:
T1: Mountain, Flamekin Bladewhirl
T2: any land, Smokeroller
T3: Nova Hunter, eats the Bladewhirl... even if you don't hit land 3. Think about that for a sec.
T4: any land, Shriekmaw to eat a blocker, swing...
When the championed card returns to play, would it trigger CIP effects? I can't remember the wording on champion, or...well, really...the specific rules on CIP effects.
LOL! Doran hoses Nova Hunter, just like the article said. I love the Evoke mechanic, it is a more flavourful and interesting way to put CIP on creatures. Evoking the Elementals, can't wait for more previews!

You win target thread. If you aren't Atrius, Atrius wins that thread instead. "Wait, can you actually win a thread?" - Atrius.
Why hasn't anyone else posted how to break this guy yet?
*sigh*
Here goes.
T1: Mountain, Simian Spirit Guide, Smokeroller.
T2: Mountain, Tap Smokeroller and Champion him for the Nova Hunter.
T3: Mountain, Swing, Fatal Frenzy. Anyone without removal can pretty much kiss their ass goodbye.
EDIT: May as well pack pact of negation too just in case they try something janky.
Yeah, Nova Hunter can be a very lethal card, espcially ending the game as soon as turn 3 or 4. I can see standard being quick games again

The blue instant is quite nice 2 mana for a possible put on top of library effect at very least is a Unsummon for 1 colorless more.
Bramble Horns nothing special at all decent in limited I'm sure.
Feel free to bid on my cards here!
