Appears to be common fodder to me. No obvious contructed playable cards. Late pick draft cards except maybe Ire which could be some nice reach if you grab a couple.

Wild Mongrel is NOT strictly better than Grizzly Bears.
Elspeth "we must fight to protect order and justice!"
Tezzeret "No! he will break all my artifacts and stomp my head!"
Vol "powerful dragon must be brought to heel!"
Ajani "**** this Im outta *planeswalks to lorwyn* wow what hell is this place?"
Little lorwyn goblin "this be the place of bad art and Tribes!!!"
All other Alara planeswalkers "hey where did ajani go???"
Wow the flavor text on Axegrinder sounds more like Unglued or Unhinged... (I hope its not real, the flavor text that is). Other than that these guys are pretty boring, probably limited fodder and beaters. I don't see them being anywhere near constructed worthy.

Currently playing: EDH: Whatever 99 BWG cards I feel like playing from my cube.
Awe, they went and bested Craw Wurm with a tribe-interactive equivalent. D'oh.
And here I was thinking that only Green would get the nice cantrips. But it's a cycle. NICE TRY, GREEN! Better luck next time.
Blindspot Giant looks nice. 4 power for three mana... that's gotta be worth something. The tribal part though is going to keep him out of constructed, unless the Giant deck is otherwise good - which is so completely unlikely it almost goes without saying.
Then again, Wizards is actually trying to force tribal this time around. Onslaught was in a bad place...
And Axegrinder's flavour text is OBVIOUSLY fake. Dammit, people.

I think Hillcomber Giant is very elegantly designed. Red is an enemy color of white, but white doesn't ever get to take advantage of that with mountainwalk because, well, white creatures (generally creatures of civilization) don't live in mountains. However, giants live in mountains, and giants are both red and white, and so this is the perfect chance to give a white creature mountainwalk, and WotC took advantage of that.
But Blind-Spot Giant has the wrong name. What's up with that?
What do you mean? It has a blind spot, so it needs other giants to spot for him so it can attack/block. Makes sense to me.

- Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice—because he was trying to count how much damage Jon Finkel deals in an average game.
- Jon Finkel believes in maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. He gets all his fiber from eating Magic cards for breakfast, and all his protein from eating Magic players for lunch.
Where getting their but we still need a giant with a "OMG AMAZING!!" ability. so with any luck in the next few days we might get one. "Comeon rumor gods!! you can do it"

It is cool. I have always enjoyed when r&d have found a flavourful way of giving enemy landwalk to a card.

Sometimes "innovation" means "stealing another's secret before anyone else can."
Thanks Hunter:D. They're all limited only, which makes me sad, but your great flavor text brightened the mood:). They should have made the tribal spell 3 to creature or player, complete jank is a no-no, okay Aaron (tell Maro (or should I call him "Rosy"))
EDIT: @ Athan: What about the 2WR Fling giant? (forgot his name)
Brion Stoutarm.;)
There's nothing too spectacular here. IMO, Giant's Ire and Blind-Spot Spot are playable (in Limited), and Hillcomber Giant is alright, though most of the time it's a vanilla and you could do better.
In short, common fodder, I suppose.
Giant's Ire seems really good in limited. At worst its 80% of a lava axe at instant speed, and if you're lucky you can cantrip it which is pretty sweet. Remember there's a bunch of Changelings in the set, so it's easier to get the cantrip than it might seem. Same goes for getting the blindspot guy to attack.
Now..if only said gods of all things spoilerific and wonderful could give us a lil peak at that new Mana Drain counterspell.....that would be the sweetest, bestest, most wondeful thing ever.
Begins his prayer/chant/benediction/ritual to the Rumour Gods...;).
Maybe I need to post in bigger font. The Blind-Spot Giant is wrong. I know you guys are too busy getting excited about these cards, but it would be nice to find what's up with this error.

It's quite funny how upset people get from random stuff.
The 4 damage one has a bit of potential if a giant deck materializes otherwise not.
