But Blind-Spot Giant has the wrong name. What's up with that?
Maybe I need to post in bigger font. The Blind-Spot Giant is wrong. I know you guys are too busy getting excited about these cards, but it would be nice to find what's up with this error.
Care to explain, Ranma?
Is it the spelling?
I see.
Oh lord, not on the poster.
Under a different name, perhaps?

What do you mean? It has a blind spot, so it needs other giants to spot for him so it can attack/block. Makes sense to me.
I quite like that explanation, and it does sound quite viable. My only qualm with the card is, if that is how WotC/Creative have explained its abilities, I don't see why it has to be another giant that looks out for BS Giant.
I think the Blind-Spot Giant could be very useful in limited should you draft some changlings. I see no reason why in a tribal block, the changelings shouldn't be at least somewhat draftable.
Well. The white mountainwalker isn't very good, but it's bigger than your average white creature, and has landwalk, which most white creatures don't.
Blind-Spot Giant stuck out at me as efficient. If only there were some two and 4 drop giants to back him up (like, i dunno, Jotun Grunt and Brion Stoutarm?). He could see play if a giant deck crops up.
The 4-to-the-face plus possible cantrip would have been good if it could hit both, or if it costed one less (see Flames of the Blood Hand). What is it with giant burn spells and having a kamigawa-esque tendancy to hit only one section of targets? Oh well, in a pinch, it kills most planeswalkers, and can cantrip.
Whoo red craw wurm. Next.
Edit: Oh, and I was kinda dissapointed at the contents of this thread. "Giant Spoiler" read to me as "Very Large Spoiler of Cards", not "Spoiler of Cards with the Giant Subtype".

Good limited stuff. Weenie strategies might have some trouble punching through all the treefolk and giant common fat in this block. Blind spot giant is yet another already seen variant, this time of Ember beast. Filler, but usable filler. Thanks Hunter.
Blind-Spot Giant would be pretty decent if we have good 1 or 2-mana Changelings (preferrably in red, ofc).
The other ones... Axegrinder Giant reminds me of Mass of Ghouls, and that's pretty good Limited fatty. Giant's Ire is another good red cantrip, but Giants should have more ways to remove creatures =\ And the Hillcomber is boring and conditional.
Hillcomber Giant- 3/3 for 2WW is okay for limited, but constructed unimpressive, however red is very popular(especially in Limited) and mountainwalk will make this unblockable most of the time. So limited strong, constructed probably not unless you really need the 4cc giant.
Blind-spot Giant- a 4/3 for 3 is very good and as long as you have another giant it has no drawback, 2 of these make both of them vanilla 4/3's for 3. Limited you need massive giant support, constructed might be worth it in a giant tribal deck(if one is viable).
Giant's Ire- If it had been creature(or better yet creature or player) it would have been playable but 4 damage to a player for 4 even instant speed with a potential cantrip, is pretty weak.
Axegrinder Giant- generic vanilla fat giant. It's a red Craw Wurm with a tribe, so limited solid, constructed useless.
Messages and leaks are all over the place. Don't shoot de messenger!
Are the messengers leaking because they were shot? If we shoot the messengers again, will they leak some more?
I guess it depends on where we aim, eh?
Anyway, limited chaff here. For the most part Lava Axe is okay, and the tribal one is better in almost every way, despite the fact that it only does 4 damage. The white mountainwalker is probably the best of the bunch, as a Hill Giant with a useful ability. The others border on unplayable - Craw Wurm in green is way the heck better than in red.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.
'Welcome to Mafia Salvation', it said, 'Population: 3,660.' And someone, they never figured out who, had painted on the sign in red letters: '1,831 to lynch.'
Of those, only a couple were only printed in the 1996 to 2003 era. For a long time, they had a policy of "no white Hill Giants!" I guess that's changed!
Giant’s Ire is a Lightning Blast without the creature removal, but some Gianty goodness tacked on. Possibly some block constructed playability. Also really hits planeswalkers hard.

The creatures in this set seem far larger overall than they'd normally be.
Playing Tribal, giants are the least powerful tribe around in lorwyn as to what i have seen, all have high CC, if only there are cards that can support and hasten this loafing beasts and be synergetic with them their might still be hope for them

Ah yes that's why it bothers me. I like the card though, shame I can't prove it to be real. I stand corrected which is good.

Of course they have constructed application - Giant tribal!
(Viable constructed application is another matter entirely, but tons of cards have no viable constructed application.)

Maybe it was in his.... blind spot!
Two fillers, and two interesting cards
Hillcomber is strange because it's a 3/3 groundpounder for 4. The only cards like that in the game are Nagao, Bound by Honor, Essence Sliver, Trokin High Guard, Cavalry Master, Gustcloak Sentinel, Moorish Cavalry, Northern Paladin, Southern Paladin, Seht's Tiger, and Reveille Squad.
