I remember this card from an issue of InQuest WAY back in the day, like '96 or '97. It was one of those reader-submitted cards. If my memory serves, It was a green enchantment that turned a creature into a wall, and it was called Lignify.
Anybody have back issues of InQuest FTS? (for the scan)
I like it, though I'm curious to know why they're bleeding removal into green and giving good removal to white. I'll wait to see more of the set before calling a ColorPie Foul, but this may warrant explanation down the road.
EDIT: And, preemptively, I don't like "Well, this isn't really removal..." as an answer. I realize that 0/4 isn't 0/1, but Pongify was labeled as "removal for blue," and this is definitely at least as good, for a color which doesn't usually get anything at all.
so tru i like this for the tribal bonus plus it gives green more removal i guess??

I remember that card, and I also remember seeing a french website with made-up cards, which included a 3/3 elf for two, but you had to reveal an elf from your hand to play it.
I just thought of the BEST COMBO for lignify! Ok, first you lignify a critter, and then kill it with Boggart Loggers! You can do it again the next turn, if you have that card to return a goblin to your hand, and that blue guy in tenth who returns stuff to your hand! That's tier one deck stuff right there kids.
