Just to be clear, this will NOT draw the game if there are no other nonland permanents in play. The reason is that it will RFG itself, but the leaves play trigger can't return itself to play because once it's RFG the card loses its "memory" of which card it removed.
Well, it's not as if there's a bucketload of enchantment removal running around standard anyway, but...
If you sacrifice the Ring to your Auratog while the "remove from the game" trigger is still on the stack, it'll put the "return the removed thing" ability on top of it, which proceeds to bring back absolutely nothing. Then the "remove" ability resolves and whatever was targeted will be gone forever, or as forever as removed from the game gets nowdays, which isn't much.
Is it just me who dont understand or what? How can you abuse it. Example please.
And Limited, isn't that block. In't Auratog in Timespiral.
You sacrifice it while it's come into play trigger is on the stack so that its leaves play trigger goes off first, removing something from the game permanently.
If it gets out of hand, they can always give it the same Eratta the Parallax cards did back in nemesis.
If enchantment hate isn't high, it will be after the set comes out. I can't see why a player wouldn't play a set of these. In my meta Enchantment Hate is non-existent Main Deck, and the top deck in the area only runs TWO ways to nix this (Angel and Harmonic Sliver)
And its common! We can say goodbye to Fetter's without much problem! This is a hella powerful common... I wonder what the crap in this set looks like.
This set is telling me, "We're sorry Kamigawa soured you on Type 2. We're sorry the Duals Lands were so overpriced/valued by douchebag players. Please come back, Mr. McRobot!"

Underling Ethu's 263rd report read simply "Yes, my lord.Overwhelmingly, my lord." This marked the end of the Mirran-Phyrexian War.
I absolutely love this card. Thanks Hydro! I've been reading rumor mill since it was only existent on mtgnews, and this is the card I'm most excited about in all that time. Play Oblivion Ring targeting anything you want, and then play Patrician's Scorn for free to remove it. Sure it's two cards, but I'd pay three mana and pitch a card to remove any threat I didn't like.
now i REALLY have to run enchantment-hate in every deck! and my BR,MR,A and a second MR cant have any at all! (save the disk...but will i get one of these?)
*jaw drop* Ok, I'm a johnny, but I'm also a limited player. This thing's shinier than the ring they spoiled last night in dozens of ways; way to go Hydro
Holy insane!
This card is friggin ridiculous. White is officially back on the map.
God I hate this card so much, why is white the best removal color in the game???
Nice to have power commons back in the world. I miss the days of scouring common bins for Sakura Tribe Elders and trading them like they were made of gold.
[card=Dismal Failure]"Two magi could trade spells all day and never crown a victor.

This is great! I really hope that this set brings more cards like this so a good old U/W control deck could take. I realy wanted that to happen in ravnica but sadly the multicolor support made three color control better.

That would be sweet. I just purchased 4 adarkar waste ... that is how hopeful i am. With this card, and ***. that is 8 removal spots taken, some more disruption, counter, beatdown - manlands... is possible...

I think this card will have little effect on constructed. As is it doesnt fit into may decks at all. maybe the UGW blink deck, but that deck becomes very difficult with the rotation of the duals.

That deck wont be good. Its a three drop and most of the "hard" counters in the format are at the threeISH range so your not going to tap out on those early turns to cast this and in the late game youll have better options available.
...unless it is an infinite loop right away... in which case every deck would run four just to push reset and start over like we all did with old school nintendo back in the day.
all in all im waiting to see what else we can do with this until i decide.... maybe well get a worldgorger effect to go with it.
....And here I was thinking that the Elemental Incarnations would be unstoppable in Limited. (Don't count your chickens before they hatch )
I love this card. It is full of tasty flavor, and certainly a powerful tool for White decks.

Yes, because no new decks will be created after Lorwyn comes out.
And no existing decks will change completely.

Just a quick question... every single creature that gets spoiled people moan "OMG IT DIES TO REMOVAL." How is this any different? Yes, I love this card, and I'll own a few for each one of my white decks... and YES enchantment removal isn't as prominent as creature removal...
But Disenchant AND Naturalize are in the format... and you can always Ring your opponent's Ring. Just playing devil's advocate... I just haven't seen the same moaners on this thread.
And some of you thought white would be the weakest for answers against planeswalkers. Hooray for non-land Vindicate! (Ok, more like even better faith fetters)
The actual wording has to be "another target nonland permanent" or something of that nature or else it can infinitely loop itself.
Assuming that fact, it's a very solid card, for 2W at sorcery speed it can effectively permanently get rid of any non-land permanent your opponent control. With some sort of repeatable bounce you can use it to flicker your own permanents to abuse 187 abilities.
In limited it will be a 1st pick for white, and in constructed it will see play even in maindecks as a white targetted removal which doesn't care about attacking/defending, which doesn't give your opponent any benefit, which can also deal with artifacts/enchantments and which unlike Pacifism variants isn't rendered worthless by Boomerang effects(normally your opponent would bounce their creature and the aura would fall of useless, in this case if your bounce Oblivion Ring you only get your creature back until the O.R.'s controllers next main phase(unless there's a better target)). The sorcery speed aspect is not a concern when measured against all the benefits.
2W
Enchantment
If you are playing Enchantress, draw your deck and win the game.
False! Enchantress effects require you to play your enchantment, not put it into play.
Still good for the deck.

Good design. This entire set is very well designed, I must say. It looks like its going to be a blast in limited.
This card is so good it SINGLE-HANDEDLY raises the pick value of any enchantment destruction in the set.
I can definitely see it being played in constructed, as well.
Currently 62/265 cards.
