So, if I equip this Meadowgrain fellow with a Loxodon Warhammer, do I gain 5 or 10 life per swing? Can't remember if in this particular case the lifelink ability gets printed twice on the guy ala Genju of the Fields.
Really? how come
First Strike is much better defensively (with other first strikers), but flanking is far more likely to make your creature unblockable, and lets you glide through armies of tokens
Frankly, Flanking is only good against other Aggro decks (since it is only effective against creatures with already small toughness)....and an Aggro deck that blocks isn't exactly doing well, anyway.
Against Control, their creatures are likely to be much larger, and therefore less affected by flanking.
On the other hand, First Strike is still good against other Aggro creatures, since they will usually die, if they do not have first strike. Against control decks, you can stack damage and then burn the larger creature without your knight having to take the damage as well.
I like the new white knight, and I'm hoping for a black variant. Didn't wizards mention in a recent article that they like the white/black knight pair and their variants?
Call me weird, but the balloonists perks my interest more than the knight; the skill-tester post in the beginning of this thread had me giggling. It's obviously going to be pretty good in limited, even if you give the flying to a 2/x it doesn't matter, it gets your stuff through for beats.
The whole tarmogoyf thing is kinda moot, WW kithkin will at the very least be good in block. Which doesn't have tarmogoyf and therefore will probably be a bit more fun (and arguably pretty cheap).

Hey, lolis with katanas are awesome, and I don't care about their home country.
Maybe Im way off base but I dont think this lifelink knight is particularly good. I want to see more kithkins that create card advantage like Gaddock Teeg and Surge of Thoughtweft over variations on the white knight formula. I doubt militia pride is too good either as you'd rather play a creature than that enchantment i think.
Thoughtweft Trio might be good. Its too early to say because we havent seen all the kithkins yet...like the uncommon kithkin with a CIP ability. One drops like Goldmeadow Harrier would be a good target to champion.
Kinsbaile Balloonist- constructed jank, limited solid a 2/2 flyer for 4 is expensive but the fact it will give you biggest non flying creature flying each turn is a good thing.
Knight of Meadowgrain- WOW, the kithkin weenie dedck is really coming together. 2/2 first strike, life link and only 2cc. Alround solid card.
