Colfenor's Urn - 3
Artifact (R)
Whenever a creature with toughness 4 or greater is put into a graveyard from play, you may remove it from the game. At the end of turn if three or more cards have been removed from the game with Colfenor's Urn, sacrifice it. If you do return those creatures to play under their owners control.
Runed Stalactite - 1
Artifact Equipment (C)
Equiped creature gets +1/+1 and is every creature type.
Equip: 2
Twinning Glass - 4
Artifact (R) 1, T: You may play a nonland card from your hand without paying its mana cost if it shares the same name as a spell that was played this turn.
No asking for more cards. Comment on these if you want, otherwise don't post please.
wow, thanks for the info. I believe we already knew the wanderer's twig, but thanks! I realy like the twincasting articfact that allows for double spells to be played at the cheap and the changling equipment. Sounds awesome!
Also, Colfenor's name seems to be on several cards. I wonder if he's a lengend in the next set or even a planeswalker?

Rare
Interesting. A card which makes Wrath effects much, much better.
EDIT: Missed "owner's control"....
Twinning Glass casting cost: 4

Rare
It's still not colorless, and has no color. That's a paradox. So either you're a Zen master or an idiot, I'll assume the Zen master for sake of argument. This card will have no paradoxes because it has a clear paradox. Deep stuff man.
Colfener's Urn is niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Absolutely stellar anti-Wrath, anti-creatureless tech. This is a sweet card.
Runed Stalactite: probably best in Limited, though potentially swingy there.
Twinning Glass: another storn enabler! could be dangerous with dragonstorm if it does say "play the spell" not "put something into play"
Hey, is there anyone else on the forums going to Rice University in Houston? We could ALWAYS use more people in our Magic games. PM me if you want to play sometime
I'm curious to find out who this Colfener dude is- he's pretty badass, and that other weird enchantment is very sui black (very close to being good, but fell short into unusable territory). This enchantment is cheap enough to warrant constructed use. Shame they put that "owner's control" clause in, and not "your control"...
Also, is the wording correct, that you can sac it at the end of their turn? If so, that's pretty sweet. Also, having multiples never hurts- they kill the first one, the second one can still retrieve the creatures, right? Hmm... This could be a sleeper bomb card.

Although I can't remember off the top of my head if I read it on WoTC or here, Colfenor is a Treefolk, maybe even a Treefolk legend? Not sure he has a card in the set though.
Equipment doesn't follow creatures into the GY, so it shouldn't persist through death.
an example would be: Shields of Velis Vel
Tribal Instant - ShapeshifterChangeling (This card is every creature type even if this card isn't in play.)
Creatures target player controls get +0/+1 and gain all creature types until end of turn.
which works in a similar way to the stalacite.

Whenever you remove a creature with an Urn's ability, the creature is linked to that Urn. So if it's destroyed that creature is lost forever, even if you had another urn in play.
One of the best known, and most unique, treefolk is Colfenor, thought to be the only yew treefolk on Lorwyn. He is extremely old and very mysterious. Some think he harbors some dark, unique knowledge that could impact all of Lorwyn, but even if he does, he is the type not to tell.
Man, who is this Colfenor guy, and why does he suck so bad? Is that name some kind of super-secret anagram for "all of my things suck so bad?" His plans are like the worse plans ever, and I'd rather use a Folgers tin than his urn.
No, the only reason changeling is a keyword is because the card has the types in every zone.
This only gives it in the one zone, so no need.
You're right it only effects the creature in play, thanks it just felt a bit strange for the ability to have a keyword and then have a card which gives the ability without using the keyword.
twinning glass can and will be broken. the only question is how...most likely with expensive cards like an incarnation, i guess...

Does anyone else have trouble with the flavor of a stalactite giving +1/+1 and every creature type? Of course, this question always comes up with equipment in one form or another. How does an Ooze wield a Scimitar, how does a Spider wear Leonin armor, etc.
I don't know about that Urn. I am a big fan of Doran, Timbermare, and Spectral Force, but even if I do for some reason put all three of them into a deck together, would I actually include this card? Maybe in my sideboard.
Try to think of Equipping as a magical link between Creature and Artifact, rather than a physical link, i.e., Creature wielding/wearing Artifact. Works for me.

Yes. That works for me. The "runed" part of "runed stalactic" gives that away. The Stalactite has been "runed" which means it has been inscribed with magical runes giving it the power to make a creature more powerful, and to bring another into play.
Of course, I would prefer it to have been called "runed menhir" - but they may have to leave that for the Asterix and Obelix expansion...

Sometimes "innovation" means "stealing another's secret before anyone else can."
All of these cards are pretty good limited material. The rare artifacts are a bit too clumsy/conditional to see serious tournament play and the stalactite is not efficient enough. In limited, though, all are fine.

Colfenor's Urn seems like it'd be quite good. If any of your 4+ toughness creatures die, you can put it into the Urn instead of the graveyard. And once there are three or more in there, you can break open the Urn and put all those guys back into play, at the end of any turn.
Would work with evoke creatures. Pay them for cheap, get their effects, and once you've got three (or more) WHAM, they're all back in play, generating all those effects AGAIN. For example:
1) Elf
2) Urn
3) Evoke Cloudthresher
4) Evoke a couple 4 toughness guys, at end of opponent's turn break the Urn.
And that's just evoke. I bet this would work great with all kinds of creatures. Combos galore!
I'm not sure how a cave spike can be considered equipment. Maybe the creature grabs onto it and uses it as a club or spear? Meh. Anyway, it looks useful in limited with "if you control a _____" cards, etc.
Twinning Glass looks like it may have a use, but personally I don't think I'd bother with it.
The urn seems pretty nice. You can use it with sac-effects (greater good is fun), or like R_E mentioned, evoke... or just as wrath protection.
Seems like a nice card to me.
The twin glasses are also fun with spells with buyback. Get 2 for the price of 1 and one colorless mana. Although its use is rather limited.

Nice catch on Evoke creatures... though, you'll notice many have 3 power for just this reason I'm sure. Still, Glorius Anthem + Elemental party = bad combo... I guess.
The spike is probably it's origin, much as if you had a bo staff named "tree limb of doom"... but I'm with others, it really should have given the changeling keyword... and equipment is always useful in limited, but to be really GOOD in limited, it needs a bigger bonus someplace. +1,+2's very good, +1,+1's just meh...
I take it Twinning Glass is nice in Relentless Rats.dec, but it's also good when you can tutor copies of spells... have two craw wurms (in limited) in your hand, wait until turn 7 to play them, then POW!
So... maybe in constructed with lots of card draw/filtering? I could see it in the U/B madness deck that's been going around, after a few turns of digging I usually have a few repeats in my hand... but then again, I rarely hard cast those...
I take it the best use would with bounce creatures from planarchaos... I bounce lion my avalanche riders, block, then tap 1 instead of W1 to play my second to save my first from combat damage... It turns the gargoyle into slightly more efficient main deck graveyard hate, and it could make the 4/3 token producer into a playable card. Once you hit 6 mana, it's four 1/1s each turn... okay, not so hot
Edit: Twinning Glass is frickin awesome in the U/b control mirror. Did they just play teachings? You can play it for 1 more.
Did they just cancel something? Or do you have 1 colorless open and a cancel in hand?
Are you going to flashback your teachings from your yard? Why not tutor up another teachings and play it for 1 colorless more... then you can get what you originally wanted and still have a teachings in the yard?
Are they going to counter a spell? Use teachings to get a copy of that spell, and play it for 1 colorless to counter it!
Is thier suspended ancestral visions about to go off? Play yours that you just drew for 1 mana!
Did you draw a visions off of your visions? Ancestral Recall time! OMG!
Wow... in heavy blue draw decks, this could be maindeck gold - what you do with all your cards is up to you.

Vintage Oath (35 card proxy)
Legacy Vial Goblins (R/B) / 2 Land Belcher
Extended Elf Ball / ThopterDepths / Naya Zoo
Standard Jund / Koros / Boss Naya
Urn- interesting card mid-range anti wrath tech, or potentially combo abusive.
Twinning Glass- lets you play doubles, I like it in a Relentless Rats deck although they already have Thrumming Stone and still see no play.
