Sound like a couple of Mythics to me. I wonder what colro (s) Nicol will be as a planeswalker...
Well grixis is the one missing their walker, and he was tri color in grixis colors before, I think it would be nice and made sense if was still grixis colors.
If this is true, CON rumor season is going to hurt. People can just pass us fake cards...and the names will already be known. I don't think any amount of orb-fu is going to save us.
True, but at the same time isn't separating true rumors from fake ones part of the fun?
As for the information:
:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o
Ok, now that I got that out, WOW, this is reminding me of the infamous "playtest card" fiasco. This is way too early for Wizards to want us to have this much information
@Captain Decoy: you are the first rumor mill hero of this season

Probably UBR, it matches grixis's colors, the shard that happens to have no planeswalker at the moment, and his original card was UBR. If not all three than a combination of the three I'm sure.
I think the fact that Worldly Counsel is supposedly being reprinted is a very good indication that Conflux will be, as everyone has speculated, a coming together of all five planes. Great find.
This is spectacular. I think we need to keep checking the site that is the source for this and see if actual card text pops up in their Oracle listing. (They have one with full card text through Eventide.)
Well, other than the number crunch, this still means very little. Basically, all we know is the names of the cards, that Nicol Bolas will be in the set, and there will be four mediocre reprints from the past. It's not like any of those reprints are really going to shake things up much. The card draw is decent but not spectacular. It could be constructed playable, though. The artifact is, well, more mana fixing in a block with something like 18 mana fixers already. Unsummon will at least make blue suck a little less in limited. Maniacal Rage has seen more reprints than it really deserves.
Nacatl Hunt-Pride is most likely Nacatl War-Pride just mis translated.
I loled at it. There is no way to prove or disprove this list but as far as I know didn't they say they weren't going to print Planeswalkers in expansion sets?
Can anyone else still access the .txt files? It looks like they've been taken down. Which, honestly, only seems to confirm accuracy.
edit: Ha! But it's still in Google's cache. Saving myself a copy while I still can...
Also, if you go to the mjmj.info home page, it would appear to be the official WotC NetRep site for Japan, if I'm reading my crappy google translation accurately.
Any Japanese speakers want to confirm that?
Also, interesting side note, the site had two lists off all Magic cards, one with Japanese first, the other with English first. The Conflux cards only appeared on the English first list. Does that mean anything? I dunno. Probably nothing more than they only screwed up once, but hey.

That makes like perfect sense. I'm like 100% sure your right.
The fact that the card "Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker" has Planeswalker on the title may indicate that it won't have the type planeswalker on it. Makes sense, at least.
The first type-less card, then?
...it's a planeswalker.
There's absolutely no reason for it not to be a planeswalker.

What's funny is that it makes perfect sense that Nicol Bolas will be a Planeswalker:
- He's a huge Elder Dragon Legend that all players love (or all Dragon-lovers, anyway)
- He's already got a card named Nicol Bolas, otherwise the Planeswalker would simply be his name.
- Grixis has no Planeswalker, and those are his colors.
Too cool. Mana Cylix makes perfect sense (hopefully as Common), and the rest of these hints are very, very interesting.
I personally take this as real. For someone to just 'think up' this entire list of every Magic card and insert fake card names...seems a little suspect. I'm guessing someone on the foreign side uploaded this text file for whatever reason, Google caught it, and on a random search we found it.
This is the entire reason the Rumor Mill exists: To dig up information that may or may not be accurate and debate its validity. Excellent find! After this weekend's awful prerelease, I'm glad to see something so interesting here

The translations could easily be off by a little bit, so thats probably not the actual name.
nicol bloas is one of the most powerful planeswalkers in the story line and WAY to powerful to be printed on a card. the only reason he did have a card was because that card was printed before he was a planeswalker. i want to believe this is fake just because of that.

He wasn't always powerful though. Maybe this is an "early" bolas like our early ajani we just got.

Or he could just be the 'depowered' Bolas, since Planeswalkers got nerfed in Future Sight.
Edit: Also, I think that since this was taken down within 2 hours of being posted here, it's safe to say WotC is watching our Rumor Mill closely.
Especially since the Google cache version I'm looking at right now is timestamped 9/22/2008 15:18 GMT by Google. This information has been up for a week, but they just get around to killing it right after we (read: Computer Decoy) noticed it.

They could have Bolas have something like Hymn to Tourach instead of Mind Twist, saying that he's too arrogant to use his full power against mere mortals (neo-planeswalkers).
It can be Legendary without being a planeswalker..
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
Legendary
... You're missing a type. (Legendary is a super type, not a type.)
There's no rules support for just being tribal.
Instant and sorcery make no sense. Land makes no sense. Artifact doesn't really many any sense, and neither does enchantment.
So are you telling me that they've made a reference to Nicol Bolas (a legendary creature) by making Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, and it's... a creature?
EDIT: Yes, it's possible that the card has a different name and isn't a planeswalker. We'll have to wait and see about that.

However to also take this from a vorthos point of view, nicol could've easily been weakened by the confinement and the battle he had. Theres also the grixis ultimatum to consider, sarkhans search for some powerful dragon, and the grixis plane was missing their planeswalker.

And Progenitus as a card sounds awesome.
At what point would "scissors" be in its development? Just curious.
Way to get an early jump on the CON rumor season!

Or else they will neuter him with some storyline bending, which is equally likely. Heck, they'll probably do both.
