All this discussion about an opponant trying to keep him in play...Do you really think that'll be the case? If I play it, my opponant will have to know that I plan on self-removing it at some point, preferably when he's at 0 life. Therefore, why would an opponant let it beat him over the head to get to that point?
Of course your opponent will remove him asap if he can.

Jacerator is an aggro deck - it just wins by attacking the library, it doesn't really control the board other than to play a few Fogs

Therefore, why would an opponant let it beat him over the head to get to that point? If your opponant has removal, I don't see him holding it back and NOT using it on this guy, in most cases.
Well I think it's more of an issue if the opponant gets ahead of things faster than you then can swing the game where you want him alive more than they do. If you don't have a way to keep him protected, as well as a way to sac him... then you shouldn't play him.
I figured that it would be some stupid drawback like lose half your life or sac all other permanents you control. This on the other hand might actually be played!
... I had to read this card 4 times before I actually processed that it was anti-platinum angel, not a black platinum.
I was actually just thinking, in relation to the posts mentioning Bone Splinters, I want to be the first to sac this to Bone Splinters to kill Platinum Angel!
Wow. I want to run standard deadguy ale now. 6/6 with evasion and trample for 4 is ridiculous and white removal can be used to get rid of him once the opponent is at 0 or negative life.
It's a cheap beatstick! With a drawback that you can easy fix! People have already named a few ways to get rid of him when you finally have your opponent down to zero - Terminate, Gatekeeper, Fleshbag Marauder - How about Bone Splinters? Or Xathrid Demon? Defiler of Souls? Hell, at that stage you could probably make that horrible Demon Tribal deck some of us always wanted to make.... *cough*
Or anything with Devour...Or Ooze Garden (horrible, but still..)..Vampire Aristocrat...God, there are a billion ways to get rid of him. And a 6/6 FLYING TRAMPLE...God, this guy is going to go in a lot of different decks.
I could even see this guy replacing Broodmate Dragon in Jund decks...a cheaper, easier mana cost, a bigger body....god, I want 4 of these right now.
Ok, I think I got it. If the demon comes down and you have removal, you kill him, no questions asked. If he comes down and you don't have removal and puts you at zero or below, you ignore him and try to put your oponent at zero or below. If you have pump and the guy tries to damage his own demon, you pump it. If you have counters, you counter any and all attempts to off his own creature. If the demon's sac is an additional cost for a spell or if you can't stop something like DoJ or gatekeeper from resolving, you're pretty much screwed.
Is it evil? yes it is.

Hawt. Now I really wana make a MBA deck. This beats the tar out of Jar-Jar Sphinx and Walletslayer, and since you're in black, it should be easy to off him when you win. Bone Splinters? Gatekeeper of Malakir? Carnage Altar? Tar Fiend? Yum...
Hey guys, it's been a little over a year since Mythics came out. I think this entire set is them replying to our initial "what the hell?!" response to mythics needing to be crazy and awesome. We're finally at the good point, no more Mayael the Anima for us.
As for this guy, he's amazingly awesome. Good players will kill it as soon as it drops to avoid the 6/6 flying trample, so it's going to just play as a freaking awesome beater. Anyone who doesn't kill it will be out of luck, as the game is kind of littered with "Kill stuff" effects. Hell, we just had an entire block with Devour as a mechanic.

Deadguy Ale deck? Does it come in a growler?
I've kinda been wondering though, I thought you couldn't go to negative numbers in life total.

But seriously, you can't undercost fatties with this ability. There are a lot of cards that are already part of aggro strategies which can sac him off as soon as they hit zero.

It won't really see play with jund having BBE and vamps having nocturnus, but it's not bad.
Don't lie to yourself and think your opponent is going to let this live though.

This card could replace Tombstalker in legacy because he could come down on turn 2 through Dark Ritual.
