He is entirely correct. Both Kozilek and Emrakul (and Ulamog, if he has the same ability) can be reanimated with instant-speed reanimation, because they have a triggered ability rather than a replacement.
Follow me here. He's my plan.
Traumatize myself.
Tap Crypt of Agadeem
Play Emrakul.
This kinda works but its one shot unless your only eldrazi lord is in your hand because they'll reset your deck, basically you need to have 5 mana for tramatize, untapped crypt and for out of <30 for you to have 15 creatures. Overall that doesn't seem that broken.
Tutor for the 1 copy of the eldrazi in my deck.
It's kinda just an idea. I'm toying with. It's more of a casual play than competitive. I do wanna see the entire set. I have a feeling these monstrosities are going to be extremely playable. If not then I'll be able to get a playset fairly cheep. And I'll still be happy.

This new set is dumb. It almost makes me want to quit Magic.
I quit Magic back in M10, when they started obsoleting cards in the same set, introduced all kinds of rules changes, and got rid of mana burn. Effectively destroying mill forever as a viable win strategy is just icing on the cake.
...Am I the only person who see's that this thing costs 15 mana?
If you pay it for its mana cost to get the time walk effect, you might as wall just demonfired for the win.
If you cheat him into play, he isn't much better than Progenitus, they both are a two turn clock.
This card really speaks to me of lazy design. Lets just throw lots of abilities on one card and call it awesome!
Demonfire is also red, so by being colorless ramping is easier
And it is a better clock then progenitus
if you cheat it in, lets say turn 6 (summon trap no ramp)
if your opponenet has day of judgement both die turn 1 any way
turn two, you attack, progenitus still dies to day. The chance of them using day on emrakul is very slim with the whole sac 6 things. Emrakul also doesn't become a three turn clock because someone played a refugee.
The only real answer to her is a reaching deathtouch, while you have 6 other permamanets in play, but i'm willing to trade her if it means on turn 7 you have no lands and no creatures in play

why are the people on this forum so ignorantly blind that they can't see the bigger picture. Are people honestly not noticing that the entire set is based around defense and ramping into these guys? Theres a bajillion cards in RotE that help ramp up colorless mana and mana only for eldrazi spells.... yet people still say stuff like "omg its 15 mana its unplayable".
People seem incapable of judging any of these cards in anything but a vacuum

Well, it's not lazy design, it's exactly what an eldrazi is supposed to be. Huge, game-winning, and expensive. It's got a lot going on, but they all pretty much point to one thing: it is somewhat hard to kill.
That said, this card is hugely overrated, and casting Iona, Shield of Emeria would probably be better than casting Emeria itself.
Kozilek is still better!
I however, am very excited about Shatterskull Pass. It swings for 6 on turn 5, which is pretty good even though Spellbreaker Behemoth and Mycoid Shepherd haven't exactly made waves, so I'm a bit wary. I do long for the days when Rumbling Slum was good.
Not sure about anyone else, but the location I usually go to for prerelease (which accommodates about 80 players), there's always more than a couple people who, even with warning, don't know any better and put their prerelease foil into their sealed deck. With this bomb being given out, and being colorless ("splashable"), and a HUGE Timmy card, think it'll be heavily put into decks by people who dont know better?
Honestly didn't see that coming. Figured it was an $8-10 on presale, but $15-20? Whoa.
Not a shocker. People hype and freak out, flooding presales because they want their playsets badly enough. Every now and then it pays off (see Jace), but most of the time these people just end up paying x5 more than if they had just waited a few weeks.

Then they can be asked to take it out of their decks by the TO. It's not allowed, and most established PR centers make an announcement before hand that they can't use it.

Still creates a lot of trouble, with putting out game losses, DQ'ing people who are found to do it in later rounds, etc.
