I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
Do we know there aren't any Wedge Colored Non-creature spells in these? That isn't Fervant Charge, but I would love to see a couple of Wedge spells. Black and white have a number of Sorceries that put a big token into play and that's as red as can be, soooo?

A cycle of wedge charms would be cool. Same thing with a cycle of wedge lands.
I, too, believe this is a strong possibility, if not an inevitable reality. Although, that would be 10 cards out of 50--that's a lot of room. If they do "cycles" I hope those are the only two. The point, I thought, was to specially create a boatload of cards that are multiplayer in nature, not a bunch of wedge support cards.
Is there going to be wedge tri-lands in these boxes?
I think it will be a while before vendors have singletons for sale. Might have to buy the box to get anything good. Eh?
I'm dead certain shops will be cracking boxes themselves to sell the new cards (and refill on potential good reprints) as soon as possible. The demand will be there. At the very least, teh Internets will provide you with every single you need.
If no one has mentioned it, another benefit of getting these precons is that a bunch of old card frame styles will be updated. All lovely black borders with current skins will be refreshing. I'm sure updated "staples" will be in high demand. So glad I got a 95$ preorder of the set. I predict that the decklist reveal will make these no cheaper than 150.

You got a ridiculously good deal for a sealed product with an MSRP. Even if these are absolutely garbage big retailers will sell them for $30 each and so will local game stores. Most of the presales on ebay have been about $150 after shipping and even the big online retailers have them at $130-$140 with shipping.
Since these aren't limited production decks I can't see these getting very expensive and never breaking $150 for the set. I could be wrong, but as long as they are still being printed there shouldn't be an issue with the prices spiking. Once they stop making them.... It will be entirely up to the whim of the secondary market (think Rat's Nest which sell for $35 at most places that have it).
Did wizards ever say the only new creatures they'd be printing here would be the legends?
my bet is that the sword-halo-battleground-surrounded-blade-arm-armored-monstrosity fella is some big WRB creature.
Not a legend.
Just a big (or big-ish) WRB creature
I've been thinking that the titles of the boxes will have a lot to do with the diplomacy of the decks, especially "Political Puppets." At first I thought there were cards that had some inherent "political" flavor, whatever that might be, but now I think it has to do with giving benefits to some other players so they don't want to nuke you. This would include dropping a bomb card that gives life or fatty tokens to other players. While they won't like your bomb creature, they won't blast it because you bestowed resources upon them and it will allow you to team up against a more threatening player. Death by dragons is an example of this. should be cmc 5 though...

I have been presuming that all of these cards are going to be released in expansion or code sets over the next 18 months. I would not be surprised to see some tid bits hinting at the flavour of future expansions here.

(U/B) is :symbu: or :symub: and the same is true for the other 9 hybrid symbols with their two colors in for the last 2 leters of the code. ((2/B) and co are :sym2b:)
Alternatively {UB} or {2B} in [mana] tags are (U/B) or (2/B) T is :symtap: and T will give T in [mana] tags

While you may be right for a couple of cards, no way we'll see all of them in the future. The wedge colours are difficult to build a cohesive storyline around which is why it's barely been done in the past. The vast majority of these cards will be for this product alone without a doubt.

But it's not on the front of the box, so it ain't a WRB Legend... color me even MORE interested.
WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.
Well it could be the black/white legend as well. It does look demonic and it has a halo. Red/White isn't the only weenie color combination after all.
Wait- he must be W/B. The secondary legends are enemy colors, like on Nin, the pain artist. Solved?
Feel free to tell me yours!
The crown of swords is not a halo at all, just a slightly religious concept that has been overdone to death in fantasy.

I'm sure we will see a few wedge spells.

I'm sure you can think of something by yourself.
This guy is OBVIOUSLY Kratos... I mean, some god of war. So he's red and sumthing.
I don't see the "devil" in him. Only war. And weenies. I'd really guess he's Boros.
edit: double post now one
Well, to be really picky (but historically accurate) the crown, not specifically the crown of swords, is a religious concept.
But to remain this aspect it has to have exactly 3 points (representing God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit).
I'm a Spike Vorthos - I love lore and flavor, but only if the cards are competition worthy.
the floating swords remind of the card Swords of Revealing Light from yu-gi-oh

Looks like an Enchantment to me.
A WRB Akroma's Memorial without the "protection" buffs?
A beatstick would be cool though too I guess.

How will people pimp their decks otherwise!?
It wouldn't surprise me if they come out with normal sized foil versions of all 15 new Legends, but they can't do it all at once
15 Legends. From the Vaults have 15 cards.... FTV:PimpGhettoCommander.
Probably not, but they know you guys want them.
