Quote from KigenAngeloIf this P (X-mana or 2 life) thing is true.... how likely are we go get a counterspell with P
Quote from UlthwithianThe 1U enchantment with Jin on it is something like
Whenever a player (shuffles their library?), you may look at the top 2 cards of your library. If you do, (put 1 of those cards on the bottom of your library?)
jhneoh: The name of that card is clearly 'Norn's (annnex)'. I believe it also protects you as well as your planeswalkers. Yes, it clearly says 'anata ya anata no pureensuwarukaa (planeswalker)' meaning either.
Quote from ValarinI can't believe anyone is excited about this card. It is absolutely unplayable. I wouldn't even play her in LIMITED. Easily the worst walker printed since the green elf one. Absolutely terrible.
Quote from luminum canLooking at all this art... I think I wouldn't have minded an entire block of New Phyrexia.
Quote from UlthwithianNorn's Annex does protect you as well.
Also, the White Lich card only converts damage to poison counters (evidently), not life loss. If a Lich-type effect is in play, are you allowed to pay life to go under 0?
jhneoh: Please read the Annex again. My kanzi skills are pretty poor, but my grammar is quite good. Trust me, it protects you.
Quote from MaddingNot very. It would be crazy broken if it were a hard counter.
Quote from kbx41WOTC needs to hire you. I have never seen a more fair or more perfect card. If there is a mythic X spell for orzhov, I hope this is it
Quote from arthurmaukWait, is Karn definitely an Artifact Planeswalker? Does this mean that he'll be able to be destroyed by Shatter etc.?
Quote from KigenAngeloProbably but it seems they added some power to this block finally. And the more I think about it, the more it becomes less likely... then *any* deck could run a counterspell since any and every deck can pay life instead.
Quote from Sense_90Did you guys noticed that all the phyrexian mana symbols are part of colored artifacts not of non-artifacts?
Nice translations so far!
Quote from Marek14The Phyrexian mana seem to be a rare example of a mechanic that probably can't be printed without reminder text. Colorblind people might not be able to distinguish the various colors of the symbol without it.
Quote from Zephram Cochrane »Don't try to be a great man; just be a man, and let history make its own judgments.
Quote from luminum canI agree, I don't know why they decided to have differently-colored mana symbols that can only be distinguished by subtle shades of color. Maybe it's more obvious when the cards are seen in person?
