To be honest, as a hardcore EDH player, I already have all the cards that are interesting in these decks, except the new ones, obviously.
As a EDH only player I have most of the cards that are interesting in these decks. I also have around a dozen EDH decks up and running at a time and I have no problems at all with having 4 copies of Oblation instead of 3 or another E-Wit.

All the kids who played the blues
Would learn my licks with a bottle neck slide
New frame Mother of Runes. (nonfoil-I don't like foils)
The only deck I'm interested in is the one not shown here. I assume Genesis will be in the WBG one.
EDIT:
What might be playable in Legacy imo are these two:
Soul Snare W
Enchantment - Uncommon
W, Sacrifice Soul Snare: Exile target creature that's attacking you or a planeswalker you control.
(In Enchantress)
Chaos Warp 2R
Instant - Rare
The owner of target permanent shuffles it into his or her library, then reveals the top card of his or her library. If it's a permanent card, he or she puts it onto the battlefield.
(Some combo deck)
The decks look all right, especially to get some of my friends into EDH and using their own decks. The only deck I really want to see is counterpunch... because that was the wedge I was planning on for my next EDH Deck :] if it's nice enough, I will get a copy.

Yeah I was strictly thinking about the new strictly EHD cards and fun Commanders. I think it's awesome for you guys that Wizards is committed to this format tho...
I think the Sol Ring tease had our expectations too high, so maybe it's our own fault for feeling slightly disappointed lol
Mother of Runes: 4
Angel of Despair: 5
Bladewing the Risen: 6
Akroma, Angel of Fury: 4
Sol Ring: 10
Path to Exile: 2.5
Akroma's Vengeance: 2
Total 33.5
These 7 cards alone pay for the whole deck, and once you add in all the new cards, its a bargain!
I can't believe anyone is excited about this card. It is absolutely unplayable. I wouldn't even play her in LIMITED. Easily the worst walker printed since the green elf one. Absolutely terrible.
Devour for Power and Heavenly Inferno look awesome... but I'm starting to like Political Puppets. It basically says "please don't attack me" for the first several turns, dropping walls (that can be given away for political reasons) and even putting out an "attack me and I'll wrath the board" (False Prophet) threat. Then it starts stealing/swapping creatures with opponents (Dominus of Fealty, Chromeshell Crab), drops Ruhan (randomly attacks), and says "Oops, sorry!" and starts kicking some butt. Control + creature stealing = I like!
To be honest, as a hardcore EDH player, I already have all the cards that are interesting in these decks, except the new ones, obviously.
Yeah, hence my new dilemma on seeing these lists. Do I want to pay $40 or whatever for:
Command Tower
Mimeoplasm
Damia
Spell Crumple
I guess so, since I like EDH and getting them as singles seems like it will be a non-starter. But that smarts, haha. Mind you, not enough to spend hours of my day complaining about it on a forum, though. I'm pretty sure the goal of this is expansion of the format first, profit second, since they can build a massive player base and sell new casual stuff into it in a more effective way than Planechase and Archenemy while still generating sales for singles dealers on old stuff they haven't re-printed.
Should have sold my Solemn Simulacrum yesterday, though :-P

Playing: UB Infect or whatever Ali Aintrazi brews in Standard, Reanimator in Legacy and not playing Fail Format.
Riku of Two Reflections 2URG
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
2/2
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, you may pay UR. If you do, copy that spell. You may choose new targets for the copy.
Whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay GU. If you do, put a token that's a copy of that creature onto the battlefield.
Is nuts! Double time Stretch what!? Copy a Sphinx? Terastodon!?
Really wish that the simulacrum had been in all 5. As if BUG needed more power. (And money value). Still, wow. Can't wait to crack open the RUG one. Animar just seems so amazing.
I can't wait for the 5th list to hit the internet. As it stands, I have mixed feelings. The WRB heavenly inferno and BUG devour for power are auto-pickups for me. The other 2 decks really lack "value" imo. Teneb's counterpunch hopefully rocks (pardon the pun). Looking at these decks from a pre-con standpoint, I'm very very impressed with inferno and power but keep scratching my head at why the other 2 decks taper off in quality. Just my feelings on the matter

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.
I could only afford 3 the BUG, BWR and BWG. I'm liking the BUG and BWR but wish I could have gotten the RUG one as it's neat. The BUG deck is almost exactly like the one I've been playing. Kinda silly.
Wow great decklists for starting players. The power is there. Are people seriously thinking that FoW or Wasteland or for that matter any cards valued over the entire cost of the deck?? If you think this please play a different game. You clearly do not understand the game..or for that matter the way Wizards feel about what they print. FTV and event decks aside..or limited run decks..Wizards needs to cater to new players as well as collectors.. Please think before you post.
Of COURSE they didn't have the list for my favourite 3 color combination.:p
Either way, I'm happy I put down my deposit for all 5 a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait to get them. Many a drunken night of magic will be had with these EDH Commander decks.
I knew before the lists were spoiled that I would be picking up two or three decks - at the very least, I want the Sol Rings and Command Towers.
Political Puppets is the least impressive to me in terms of reprints, and at first I dismissed it entirely. But after writing out the lists, I realized that it's actually my first pick as far as new cards go. I need all three of the non-vow new uncommons it includes (Spell Crumple, Death by Dragons, and Soul Snare) as well as Martyr's Bond and Crescendo of War for my token deck. Also, Zudruu is very likely to be my new commander.
Devour for Power obviously has the best reprints by far, so it may well end up on my list if nothing else seems necessary. I always need more Solemn Simulacrums and Oblivion Stones.
Mirror Mastery has amazing generals, but doesn't hold much appeal to me otherwise. I'm intrigued by the unique inclusion of a rare land, though. I'm curious to see what it ends up being.
Heavenly Inferno is one of the best for new EDH players, but it doesn't hold much I'm looking for. If necessary, I'll buy it just for Manacharged Dragon.
PS to OP: Molten Slagheap isn't new, it's just misspelled.
"Dread Cacodemon" is the new demon in Heavenly Inferno.
You have the price of HI at the bottom of the "new cards in several decks" spoiler.
WotC - why are you so apprehensive about printing decent lands in sealed product?! If they were to include the shock lands, or filter lands, it would have made these decks great. There are so many CiPT lands that it really takes away from it. I suspect we're getting these lands reprinted at some point in the future in some expansion set because I cannot see the logic of having such terrible mana fixing in the land department.
As a EDH only player I have most of the cards that are interesting in these decks. I also have around a dozen EDH decks up and running at a time and I have no problems at all with having 4 copies of Oblation instead of 3 or another E-Wit.

Some of the complaints about these are just too much. Why would they put $50+ cards in this product? It makes no sense at all.
