To those who don't think that Temporal Mastery, Thunderous Wrath, are not that good. you need to go view,read,study my U/R Thunderous Wrath, Temporal Mastery, miracle Delverish deck.
That deck totally completely abuses the hell out of Mastery and Wrath.
The reason why the deck abuses the Mastery, Wrath miracle cards, is because:
1. All the LOTS of draw. If I were to get the ultimate perfect draw, I could almost draw my whole entire deck if I wanted to. Cards like Crippling Cold, Ponder, Looter, Lighthouse, combined with Noxious Revival, DUAL CAST, Snap mage, Metamorph, bouncing snap mage,etc
2. I have 3 of each miracle card so that usually don't get a miracle card in opening hand, while being enough to either top deck draw them often, or help all the LOTS of card draw, draw, play them
3. DUAL CAST: I can copy all the draw, and discarders, to make sure I draw and play and or draw and discard and then draw and play. I also can copy Wrath and Mastery. With how the deck is set up, I can easily semi consistently to almost consistently do 15 to 35 damage from Wrath, and get 2 to 4 extra turns from Mastery.
4. Because of ALL that, I can copy Thunderous Wrath over and over and over and over and over, for 10 damage each time
5. I have lots of control fuel in 3 Mana leaks, 3 Snap Mages, 2 Metamorph, 3 bouncers, 4 Noxious Revival, to mana leak others trying to stop me with mana leak.
6. If I end up with any miracle cards in hand, I have 5 discarders, in 3 lighthouse lands, and 2 looters
7. I have 2 Alchemist lands so that I can use 1 of 4 Ponders during opponents turn.
When Temporal Mastery, and thunderous Wrath first came out, I was 1 of the very first to make this kind of deck.
Since then me and others have been fine tuning and tweaking and play testing the deck.
And even the owner of the site that the deck page is posted on, has his Admin named squire1, proxying the deck, and playing the deck in the site's official corporate sponsored semi major magic tourney event in Florida, because as the admin of the site, he is not allowed to officially play in the tourney. So he is down there showing off my deck.
If you view, read, study the deck list, Deck Breakdown, comments, etc, you will see why Temporal Mastery and Thunderous Wrath miracles can be abused and can be so sick.
Some notes about the deck:
3 Crippling Colds replace the 3 think twices.
Fade out, or Fade away replaces the 3 Vapor Snag Slots.
DUAL CAST replaces the 3 Increasing Vengeances
So the couple, few, some people who are saying that Temporal Mastery and Thunderous Wrath are not good, or not that good, or is bad, are wrong, and don't know what they are talking about.
Restoration Angel gets me giddy. Another flash creature to go alongside my 4x Snapcaster Mage in almost every deck I play in Standard until they both rotate... can't wait.
