Any Ajani is good in my books as he is my all time favorite walker. Back to PAX how much longer until it starts? Sorry my time zone is different from the U.S.
Could someone attach the image from liveleak? the link isn't working for me
It isn't an image, it's a advertising video for m13 depicting the 5 original planeswalkers in different poses/artstyles. Nicol Bolas comes in at the end.
Maybe we'll get 4.0's for the original's plus bolas. Or something. Or it's fake.

A little less than 3 and a half hours from the time you posted this.
Gonna go buy a set of all those planeswalkers just in case!
That is DotP 2013.
If it were core set M13, it would not have 2013 (it would be 2012), and the gameplay for DotP 2013 is beat each of the walkers, then face Bolas (the confirmed final boss of DotP 2013)
I guess OP wants it to be 'keyworded' like "dies" was. What word would you replace ETB with though?
When Aegis Angel is born?
When Huntmaster of the Fells arrives?
When Kitchen Sphinx lands?
When Faerie Imposter busts in?
When Dread Cacodemon pops in?
When Malfegor shows up?
Yeah, Wizards is really losing money hand over teacups giving away 3 cents worth of cardboard and a 42 cent stamp for every TEN events they're making $2-3 a pop on. Giving the players back 50 cents for every $120 or so they spend... yeah - must have been totally breaking the bank for them.
In other news, I hope more is spoiled than just artwork - I want to know what the cards do!
Now add in the cost of people who had to categorize, organize, and keep track of which players had been given what cards (it wasn't totally automatic).
There were full time employees devoted to MPR mailing iirc.
And then yeah, art commissioning and printing is expensive (sure, each card is 3 cents of cardboard, but add in the cost of production, and everything, and international shipping for *a lot* of those cards)

lol. I don't think you realize what Interns at companies are for.
As for tracking - that's a computer doing that with tournament reports.
While I'm sure it was a hassle - they've yet to even come close to replacing it with anything 'better' like they alluded to.
Yeah; Wasnt that part with liliana and the zombies in Avacyn Restored's Trailer?
It was but that image is actually much older than that. The original still version was supposed to be the cover of Liliana's Planeswalker novel that never hit shelves. Recycling stock footage is no sign that this is fake. Add in we have new art of Liliana, Ajani and Bolas in it plus WotC was fervently going after any postings of the trailer all kinda show this is more than just a fan-work.

oh all right. Well, that brings my hope u[ of this not being fake.

How hard is it to put a bloody count down clock on the site so we don't have to mess around with playing guessing games with time!
How hard is it to figure out the difference between your time and EST, figure out what time it starts, and then just remember that? I did it for a year in Iraq, so I can't imagine it's any harder elsewhere.
Well, it's not impossible for Liliana's title to be "Liliana, Veiled (noun)."
But personally, I don't think Liliana 3.0 would be in M13, since she's already in Innistrad. Or were there other cases of a plainswalker being in two seperate standard blocks?

If Jace, the Mind Sculptor hadn't ruined standard and been hit by the ban-hammer, we would have had a brief window with three different Jaces all legal in standard. As someone pointed out, we have Sorin Markov and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad now. We also had two Ajanis and two Sarkhans at different points in standard.
In other words, there's lots of cases of us having 2+ versions of a walker legal in standard simultaneously. It appears to be a bit of design space that WotC still enjoys exploring

sarkhan had 2 versions also from alara and zendikar. Garruk's 2 versions in standard were back to back sets. So they are perfectly fine with printing multiple versions of the same planeswalker.
oops thought i was quoting someone above you but you still missed garruk.

The way Bolas talks in that makes it sound like the intro to the Dueling Planeswalker game that is coming up.

That trailer was leaked long before the AVR one.

Nope, not like they've done anything to "increase [their] player support for local organized play programs.". They haven't given us anything cool at all, like DFC tokens, or helvaults. Those would just be dreamed up machinations of an overactive mind.
And also Ajani 3.0. Then all the Lorwyn 5 will have their three versions
2 hours
