Buy your Glimpse the Unthinkables before they go (even more) up in price. I smell a Modern deck swinging for 5 in the air on turn 2.
Yeah, I don't see this being good. Two cards and a chance to give your opponent access to their graveyard cards for a 5/5 flyer that gets hit by pretty much every removal card? If they've got anything to deal with your phantasm, you just 2-for-1'd yourself.
C'mon WotC. At least make roaring primadox a "may" trigger. It's not like a 4/4 in green needs to have a potential drawback. Jeez. Insectile aberration gets no transform clause and green cant even get a 4/4 with no evasion at 4cc that can stay on the board by itself. Awesome.
You may want to check the number of ETB creatures there are in Green already to say nothing of what remains unspoiled. That and I can't think of any analogs at the same rarity that are this splashable without similar "drawbacks".

I get how it comboes with etb and soulbond in particular. It just sucks that green gets a 4/4 at 4cc that kills itself every turn until you have another creature on board. I just feel like it should have been an optional trigger. Maybe it tested to powerful there though. Who knows. I mean, resetting something like huntmaster every turn could be degenerate. In some universe.
Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.
I prefer that fancy new Mind Sculpt 1U for 7 mill on top of whatever they play.
You prefer the wrong card then. Thought Scour costs U and replaces itself. Mind Sculpt costs 2 mana and does not replace itself. If your goal is just for your guy to be a 5/5, then every Mind Sculpt you draw beyond the first one is most likely a dead card.
This guy is like a 'fixed' Delver that will likely just end up being almost as degenerate.
The edit functions acting screwy on my mobile. Sorry for the double post. I think nighthawk might be a signal that lightning helix is in m13 or RTR. Either way, still happy to see it back. It's a great tool for tribal and many other archetypes.

Understand, Dredge is not really a Magic: The Gathering deck. When a card is playable in it, it doesn't mean it's a tournament playable card. It means it's playable in whatever crazy fantasy world that Dredge operates in.

Green has plenty of 4 mana 4/4s in it's history. The reason for the "drawback" is that it is not a drawback. It is an enhancement. You can play other cards to get 4/4 for 4.

I really hope Murder does NOT have flavor text. It would actually undermine the significantly cool rules text line being so....FINAL. Wrath of God needs no flavor text. Murder should not have flavor text either.
And that Illusion makes me think something is getting Banned in Standard again pretty soon, but that it will have little affect on the metagame. xO
"Dimir Delver". That's gonna be a deck, until the Delver part gets banned. Calling it.
I am probably every color-combination it is possible to be, though it's really hard to figure out what it would mean to be 4-colored....it doesn't seem logical to be 4-colored without being 5-colored.

You'll be happy to look at the attached images in the OP, then. Murder has no flavor text, just rules text. It's even centered like Day of Judgment/Wrath of God.
I almost feel like Jace's Phantasm should be added to list but I hate mill.
A lot.
It does work with your opponent's Alchemy and such cards though.
Or it forces your deck to work with their Alchemy's and such. Milling your opponent is always bad, and even worse in this environment. This card is not good.

5/5 flying beaters are always good. Not every deck plays out of the graveyard. This card is good.

The card is cool, too.
This will see play in legacy.
Other than that, I like the reprints: Duress, Sign in Blood, Ravenous Rats, Essence Scatter over Mana Leak. Looks very solid so far.
Look at the kind of decks in my Sig, I don't care too much about mana cost (unless it's something completely stupid, lol).

Granted its uncommon, but look at the commons.

Eh, Delver was a common. Artifact lands were commons. Cranial Plating was a common. That didn't stop the decks from not being as strong as they were.
Mental Misstep, an uncommon, completely changed legacy. We should be worried about card design, not rarity.
