Is it weird that I don't see a lot of appeal in Yeva? She seems like a fringe card so far. I can't think of many decks that'll find being able to flash in green creatures as being useful.
A 4/4 for 4 with Flash is pretty good, just look at something like Angel of Restoration... The second ability Yeva has is just extra really.
Being able to flash in creatures to attack with or surprise block seems good
It's only good with Soulbound if you have no paired creatures. I agree that the effect is powerful. I love me some flash cards. But granting that ability on a 4 drop is less powerful in green because most of the creatures cost less than that. I hope it does see play though.

3 very big differences. Angel only costs 1 white so is splashable, and is also flying, which is a much more relevant 2nd ability (over granting flash). It also has a sometimes relevant 3rd ability.
Considering how dredge warped standard during it's tenure just a few years ago, and with all the graveyard hate which will lead to "point-counterpoint" matches, pretty sure it's not coming back this soon.

The blink ability? That's actually super relevant most of the time.
By no means do I think Yeva is on the same power level, but she does share some similarities and loses evasion at the gain of 1 power, which is almost a form of evasion in a world where Restoration Angels, Fettergeists, and other creatures thrive off of the fact that most creatures deal three damage and they have a four toughness behind.
I'd obviously play Angel if given the choice, but Yeva is a perfectly fine card.
Of any given set only a handful of cards find constructed viability. Look at M12, with maybe 10 cards (plus duals) seeing play in standard.
Every year we get people who whine about the sets in this manner, who don't understand this basic truth.
Not to mention, we've seen 3 of the 15 mythics that will be printed I think? Maybe 15 of the 40 or so rares (I don't know the breakdown). The constructed playable cards are usually at those rarities, so they will come.
When is the last time a mono colored deck was tier 1 in standard? There is no point as there is a huge payoff for low cost (due to good color fixing) to at least splash an allied color.
Holy crap, it was about time Tormod's Crypt came back!
Edit: Maybe on second thought, I hate this.
Enough with the goddamn graveyard hate!
They need a land or something like:

Right after Innistrad was released RDW was a tier one deck for a month or so.
I would love dredge to return. That mechanic has a lot of exploring room, and the dredge deck has given it a bad name. Plus don't forget the Phantasm, an awesome card vs dredge shenanigans.
Considering dredge is the archenemey of R&D, I don't think it's likely to return.
Tormod's Crypt will see Standard play, period. It's great to see that card back, and it will be a wonderful replacement for Nihil Spellbomb that's so much better.
Yeva...sheesh, Wizards really seems bent on making Elves a thing again. This is ridiculous.

And Tormod's Crypt is good, some graveyard hate was necessary with all the graveyard cards in Innistrad block. Need it to keep Frites in check.
On the other hand, I fear Bloodbraid Elfs with Flash.

Not to mention this:

That could mean 1 of 2 things.
1. The good stuff is yet to come (I hope)
2. They are seriously powering down this game for reasons that I won't get into here.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what gets spoiled for the rest of the set. It can't get any worse than this.

I think we can pretty much write off red. When was the last time RDW was viable? Wouldn't it be a kick if we get Arsonist and no Chieftain?
RDW was viable less than a year ago...

It seems like an eternity since I've played my red deck. In fact, that deck was my only FNM 1st place finish.

I was going to make a mono Green deck before...now I am definitely. Sadly, GSZ is going. May be Chord of Calling will be reprinted.
Tormod's Crypt reprint [as the promo art none the less] is amazing. Nihil Spellbomb just got replaced.
