It's highly probably Feather created more angels (much like Avacyn was doing) to help with enforcement.
And we do have official confirmation from the mothership in the flavor article where Aurelia is challenging Feather, but before the contest (duel?), Krenko causes a commotion.

Right, so I would assume, theoretically if this is the plot, that Dimir would be behind this so they can control the authority in Ravnica (Boros) to in essence "lay the smack down" on all the other guilds so House Dimir can, well I'm not sure what Dimir wants so I'll go the easy route and say rule Ravnica. I still think that Lazav is the Emporer from Star Wars. The artwork is just too reminiscent, imo.

This may just be a shot in the dark;but would be epic if Jarad somewhat mocks
the Lich Lord from Time Spiral. Maybe a first line like " If damage would be dealt to Jarad,put that many cards from the top of you're library into you're graveyard instead". I think that would make him one hell of a Golgari leader.
I have no real idea what the 2nd ability may be,but prolly would revolve around
the cards you milled. Again this is just speculation,but Ive yet to see anyone
make this guess.

Yeah, I thought the exact same thing. Palpatine jumped right into my mind when I saw the artwork. If it's not intentional it's uncanny.

Why are people reacting to the fact that Jace will be made as a walker again? the character is not inherently overpowered. No matter how inherently good blue is, what with its' monopoly on "draw a bunch of cards", Jace himself is not to be looked upon with much fear. If anything, it's a nerf, because he'll be that much easier to legend rule.

From the Krenko, Mob Boss story, the issue is that the current boros leader sees Feather as honor-less and wishes to exile her from the guild. This has lead to a rift in the guild of those how support the guild leader and those who support Feather.

Interestingly it is hinted that the current guild leader does not wish or would prefer not killing Feather, and in turn Feather seems to have allowed her own imprisonment instead of fighting back. Could this be a mother vs. daughter like strife?

In the beginning of Ravnica, Razia was born of Justice and Law. From her all the other angels were created, i.e. altered clones. By that the current guild leader, if by the RtR angel, it is most likely lawful sister looking after the sister that does justifies the means by the end. If you are referring to Raz, it's shamed mother shamed daughter.

I am not talking about Raz, sorry if I confused you. I am talking about the relation between Feather and the angel that currently controls the Boros guild.

The thing is that the previous Dimir guild leader killed Raz and all the other angels by taking over their flying fortress, which was the home for all Boros angels. The only reason Feather was not killed was because her wings had been bound and she was working off a punishment. Sadly I don't know what the crime was.

So the question is, who is this new angel? Just like you said it was an angel that made the other angels, so Feather could have made this new one, which in a sense makes Feather a mother. Or as you imply, it could be that another Boros Angel survived the attack.

Or it could be for the same reason there are merfolk in rav now. For that matter,Rakdos is "all better" so it's pretty apparent something huge went down. The new angel had to come from somewhere,the merfolk had to come from somewhere,the new leaders had to come to power somehow, and Rakdos had to wake up and escape the fire pit somehow.

I just hope it's awesome. I read the books a long time ago and thought I had a grasp of what new legends we'd maybe see,and I was dead wrong. Infact the only ones I had guessed was the council,Borgy,Niv,and Jarad. So god knows wth went down man,lol

I think what he means is total cost to build decks. Of course UB lands are obscenely high, but duels like Bayou, Scrubland, Plateau and Badlands aren't any more than twice as much as shocks. Furthermore, people don't really play Tarmogoyf in legacy that much because it has been replaced by Scavenging Ooze in most decks. Green decks in modern need Goyf most of the time because there are no other options. Modern prices aren't at legacy prices, but I think the point he was making was that if they don't reprint modern staples, their prices will keep approaching legacy ones.

I'm waiting for the "He bought it at Jarad's" references to come into games or as a deck list.

I don't think there are merfolk on Rav now. I was under the impression the one Rav merfolk pic we'd seen was GU planeswalker Kiora Atua.

To me part of the flavor of Rav was not having certain creatures.

Gatecrash will introduce the new guildmaster for Simic - Zegana, a merfolk.

It was also commented at the SDCC that "There's a reason that you'll see Merfolk in RTR".

So Simic, Boros, Dimir, Golgaria, and Selesnya have new characters (and new cards) as Guild Leaders.

The other five have reappearing characters as new cards.
