When ~ enters the battlefield, exile target creature. Its controller gains life to its power.
When ~ leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to the battlefield under its owner's control. Its controller loses life equal to its power.
If it is like a StP Journey to Nowhere, then it'll probably use the new templating, looking something like this:
Enchantment StP - W
Enchantment
When Enchantment StP enters the battlefield, exile target creature an opponent controls until Enchantment StP leaves the battlefield. Its controller gains life equal to its power.
Even if it uses the old templating, they certainly will allow the controller to keep the life they gained, they certainly wouldn't make the lifegain temporary.
All that said, I still think it's far more likely that we just get a card that's essentially Erase with an "if it's a creature" clause, simply because I think limited will want it, but straight up Erase would probably be too good with enchantments everywhere. (Remember how good Shatter was in Mirrodin/Scars draft? I remember first picking Slice In Twain many times)
I think Trollcreature means an StP for enchantments, not an StP that is an enchantment. So:
Enchantment StP - W
Instant
Exile target enchantment. Its controller gains life equal to its converted mana cost.
Strictly worse Erase? I hope enchantment hate isn't powered down that far in this block, and I really hope some terrible common isn't getting compared to StP.
I think this will be our enchantment StP:
Spears to Plowshares W
Enchantment
When ~ enters the battlefield, exile target creature until ~ leaves the battlefield. Its controller gains life equal to its power.
I mean, we've got to see some tournament relevant enchantments this block. It's only fair.
Sure, because in an enchantment block, even a strictly worse Erase would be strong removal in limited (just like how, in the Mirrodin blocks, artifact kill was dramatically better than normal, and Terror was worse than normal).
And it wouldn't even be strictly worse, since it could be used to gain life from your own enchantments in response to the opponent targeting it with removal or if you're about to die.
Also, if they do make a Nimbus Maze cycle, that would be incredibly disappointing. This is considering Nimbus Maze is almost always worse than Glacial Fortress.
Nimbus Maze seems like a good bet since it interacts with the shocklands but it's not as good in many occasions as the M10 lands, making 3 colour decks a bit more difficult especially if the spells are colour intensive.
For example a Bant deck. You start with a Temple Garden followed by a Glacial Fortress. You have access to WW, WU, WG, GU. If you substitute the fortress with a Nimbus Maze you have access to GU and WU.
Next turn you play a Hinterland Harbor. You have access to GGW, GGU, WWG, WWU, UUW, UUG, UWG. Let's say you play instead the nimbus maze cycle UG land. You only have access to WWU and GWU. The difference is huge.
Plus, as it has already been mentioned, if you have two Nimbus Maze you can only produce colourless mana.
But on a two colour deck the Nimbus Maze works almost as well as the buddy lands if you have a shockland out (if you start off with a basic island followed by two Nimbus Mazes it's obviously not as good).
On the other hand Nimbus Maze is not Greek sounding (it should be something like Knossos Labyrinth ) while Horizon Canopy has two Greek words so it fits better.
Yes, I thought of that after I had already posted.
Certainly worse, hopefully enough to put an end to 3 color good stuff decks. Although, a lot of those cards have XC casting costs anyway, so time will tell...
Maybe nylea is a 5/5 for GG and maro is just missleading people ( like saying she is a snake cause she has deathtouch or something like this)
Or maybe there is realy a creature- snake 5/5 for GG
Thoughtseize is nice here cause it will become cheaper for other formarts
Medomai, champion of... can be good if it has a low CMC... ( Heroic - medomai gains " whenever medomai hits a opponent , Timewalk" until the end of turn...)
I think the guy has about half of theros spoilers...
The interaction with shocklands is limiting, but say you're building an Esper deck. Putting in Islands, Watery Graves, Hallowed Fountains and Nimbus Maze, plus UB Maze and your mana base will be just fine. While it is marginally worse, it isn't BAD. It's just not crazy good.
I remember playing with Nimbus Maze and it was a fine color fixer in a three color deck.
It's slightly nerfed, but you'll hardly ever notice it.

Nope. And to further build, I've been talking with my sources.
Its a U/W Legend named Medomai, and his deals combat damage is a Time Walk at a price.
My source says it's better described as "conditional Time Walk" but it could be interpreted both ways.
Also a 1 mana white enchantment swords to plowshares, and thoughtseize is in this block.
There is a 1cmc Journey to Nowhere with a drawback for sure.
Their response was: "Maro answered the question 'Is the card-that-would-have-been-in-MM a black card?' as 'Maybe'."
Maybe the green god is the GG 5/5 Snake?
They don't think Nylea looks like a snake.
The dual cycle is the Nimbus Maze lands cycle.
And finally, my source says that it's more Horizon-Canopy-esque lands than Nimbus-Maze-esqe.
Not the exact Horizon Canopy and friends. They think Wizard said its going to be brand new lands instead of reprints

The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
I'm going to guess that Sphinxy has a devotional Time Walk. This fulfills both "conditional" (You have X amount of permanents) and a "cost" (you paid to get those into play).

Yeah, it must have some caveat like "skip your combat phase during that turn" or "does not untap during your next untap step" or the Sphinx will just go infinite the first time it can get through.
The flavor seems to be that she wanders time and comes and goes as needed, so I would guess that the time walk exiles her until the end of your opponent's next turn or something like that.

Please, explain to me how they won't just slide into the same slots being filled by check lands currently?

devotion to green +1/+1 counters on a 3/3 body maybe i could deal with...especially with trample...
and for what its worth, thoughtsieze plays really nicely with the description of the black god.

So.. a strictly worse Erase, then?
Mind you, futureshifted cards count as new when it comes to "reprints"

Are you confirming these?
Why? What's so wrong with Nimbus Maze?
No, he's just correcting Meowmeowzor's misconception that Nimbus Maze was part of a full cycle in Future Sight.
That's way too good in this environment,
and kind of breaks the mystique of the Gods a bit too easily, IMO.
