I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
screws over 5 color decks pretty hard (assuming there running a decent mana base) and a lot of problem lands. Too bad it doesnt combo with Valakut, the molten pinnacle lol...unless you make it indestructible. yup im making that a deck
Love the Bros. wish their abilities costed maybe 1 mana less but for that power I guess its ok.
Hammer of Purphoros works so well with this card, it turns lands into Enchantment Artifact Creatures so you can use any of Shaterbang's abilities with it.
I really wish that Jund had a Martyr's Bond card rather than just gravepact

I am really surprised no one has commented on what Order of Succession does in Legacy-Vintage. In a control deck without creatures, this is just about a strict upgrade to Control Magic. It costs 3U instead of 2UU, it does not target (but you still choose what gets stolen), and it cannot be Disenchanted away to remove the effect. The only downside is that, if you are running your own creatures, this becomes a cheap Juxtapose. Even so, recall that Juxtapose effects usually cost 5 to 6 mana.
This guy is apparently getting away as a sleeper - wake up!

I noted this to a friend of mine, but I'm not sure it cuts the mustard. 4 mana spells in Legacy/Vintage control decks are usually game-enders like Jace. Just getting an upgraded Control Magic likely isn't enough at that cost.

It all depends on what is relevant in the metagame. People play Restoration Angel in Vintage nowadays, for Pete's sake. Also remember that Sower of Temptation is played in sideboards from time to time.
Order actually answers Identity Nemesis very, very well, for instance!
EDIT: Well, not super duper well, since his protection still only applies to you and not your opponent. But it does take him out of the equation, anyway.
It means someone answered the question while they were trying to. Like "ninja'd". I think it comes from a user named sarnath, who had a habit of doing that to people.
Oh all those poor kids running 25 basics in their 3-color edh decks will certainly love From the Ashes as a way to blow out the rich kids (running 3-6 basics) out of the game. But oh wait, Ruination would do the same thing in a much better way and I don't see anybody running that...
I for one love the LD card. Ever since Ghost Quarter was printed, I have thought that we need more LD like that: let me get rid of Mazes and Coffers and Valakuts and Eyes of Ugin without feeling like a jerk for mana screwing people.
For those who say Ruiniation is better: I agree with you for 1v1, but in a 4 player game, Ruination paints a big ol target on your forehead. If you can't quickly use the mana advantage to kill everyone before they get back in the game, you'll end up paying hard.
The goblin bros are such a rattlesnake general. Touch my stuff and everything goes kaboom.

The Goblin is ok but not my kind of thing at all; still I know some will go bonkers over it
The LD spell is ok but again, not my kind of thing
ORder of Sucession looks like it'll be a lot of fun but it's not very exciting

i love the art style on this card. it like paints a kind of dark, doomy kind of picture that flavors well the stax-like effects built in the card.
i wanna pair this bad boy up with Destructive Flow and Earthlink
Flagstones of Trokair
Gods' Eye, Gate to the Reikai
Riftstone Portal
