I'm not surprised. The formats all seem pretty healthy right now.

Really shocked Amulet of Vigor did not get banned in Modern. Genuinely incrediulous. That deck breaks the rules of the format. I love it, but didn't buy in becuase I was almost certain it would get banned. Crazy!

At the end of the day it's still an inconsistent combo deck. Besides it's one of the few match-ups that still feels fun to play against.
And prophet of kruphix somehow dodges the headman's axe in commander again. I will hope someone sees the light someday. The card is the worst thing to happen to multiplayer in the history of the game. And I am not being sarcastic.

And maybe they'll wise up and unban Balance for multiplayer-
I understand why it's too good for Legacy,
but it would be a much-needed tool to punish people who ramp overzealously.

Its not worth delving into a deep conversation about reasons to or not to ban it here but I don't think its as cut and dry as you are making it out to be. The RC has seen our discussion on both sides of the argument. It sounds like right now they are waiting for the changes to tuck to settle a bit more before jumping to any other conclusions and or changes to the list.
Ideally we are much better with the list changing more rarely than jumping to conclusions and moving the banned list frequently. Even if that means we sit with some problems for a bit longer I would much rather have calculated moves than impulse bannings / unbannings.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I await the day Earthcraft and Mind Twist become unbanned in Legacy, which I honestly expected to come off long before the now-unbanned Worldgorger Dragon.

Quote from Wolfman about lack of Conspiracy spoilers-
"I'd say this about guarantees that it won't be up till this Friday, but considering the current track record, the ETA is now probably two weeks after the set has been out."

I agree with this. It's better to let things sit and see rather then just ban things wily nilly. Especially things that are basically a seedborn muse that can be easily handled. If it's a problem in your playgroup, ban it there. It's not strong enough to ban format wide.

So can infect, with a lucky draw, win on turn 2. But I don't see anybody calling for a ban in that deck. I pretty much expected no bans to be honest, not until the fall set anyways. Oh well, let the discussion continue on!

While it is possible to for infect to get a turn 2 kill, it is somewhat easier to interrupt due to all the 1-mana removal in the format. Compare that to a hivemind kill where you basically need to have Spell Pierce or perhaps Mana Leak if you are on the play.
That said, I'm pretty content with no bans, though there are a few cards on the banned list which I believe would be safe to remove.

As the owner of a Titan Bloom deck,
I find it hard to believe they would want to kill the deck—
Yes, you *can* win T2 if you have a perfect draw,
but the deck is very fragile and susceptible to disruption
(though it's incredibly fun and probably my favorite Modern deck).
Titan Bloom has been what it currently is for quite some time-
I don't see any need to cripple a Tier 2 "fun" deck.

How far we have come.
Nowadays we are casting 1-mana 4/5s with additional upside
I think they want to see if Day's Undoing causes trouble first, then reassess.
