Quote from Scarap »Incoming U/R Artifact Commander. I feel it in my bones. As for the reprint commanders, I'm betting either original Niv-Mizzet or Melek for U/R, simply because U/R's other theme is instants and sorceries and I expect the 2nd commander to deal with those somehow. They're also popular in those color combos.
Quote from luminum can »I wonder if the five enemy-colored legends from the original Commander release will be included as reprint commanders.
I am certainly crossing my fingers for UR to have an artifact theme, finally.
They've reprinted Niv-Mizzet to death.
I would put my money on either Jhoira of the Ghitu or Melek, Izzet Paragon...
Possibly even Nin, the Pain Artist if they go with the artifact theme (Stuffy Doll!)
Quote from Vijard »Looking forward to the UR Commanders as that is my favorite enemy color combo. I think artifact is pretty obvious, maybe another commander with Prowess, since that is the new combat keyword that they share?
In fact, don't the enemy combos each share a combat ability? I know MaRo has laid them out before, but I'm too lazy to go and find them. But that might be a thing for this set?
WB - Lifelink?
WR - Double/First Strike
UR - Prowess
UG - Trample?
BG - Deathtouch?
Quote from cryogen »I hope for a you ban.
Quote from Figurative »Wouldn't it be funny if we got Enemy fetches in this?!
Also to those who say we don't have any good Orzhov commanders -- Teysa, Orzhov Scion says hi. (The combos!)
Quote from the Squirle master »Here's hoping for more old school lore characters!
Quote from desruprot »Wonder if we will ever get the Four Color legendaries at some point. Yes its nice to help the already Helped Wedges since Khans brought us a lot to play in those decks.
Quote from wsdean »Crossing my fingers for WB Knight Tribal.
Quote from i_am_outerspace »I cant remember.. Maybe hexproof for . I think youre spot on for the rest.
Quote from Annorax »I'm thinking token/counter manipulation for UG, with either Doubling Season in the deck or a commander with the doubling abilities.
