Standard legal sets get 2 weeks of spoilers, supplemental products get 1 week of spoilers. Why? Standard makes Wizards more money than any supplemental product can. I would have liked to see more spoilers before now. But it fits with the new spoiler model of "Hype the next product as hard as possible, and let no other product get in the way." They wanted to hype BFZ without letting Commander spoilers interrupt it.

Ironically, they already teasing "Shadows over Innistrad" even before Commander 2015 and "Oath" are even done with....
ilovesaprolings: If you want to punish WotC for not providing the level of information you require to purchase their products, that is completely up to you.
One of the very likely outcomes of lower Supplemental Product sales is that WotC will simply stop creating them.
I am not saying that you have to buy their product in order to have them keep producing it, but any for-profit company will take a very hard look at lackluster products and determine whether or not they should continue.
I think they are very nervous if they can pump the new block structure enough. They are probably wondering if sales in April will always be 3rd set bad of if they can generate fall set numbers. Hence the return to known planes and prepare for an all out hype train for SoI. I secretly think this is why Zendikar was crap for standard, so that everyone would pile on in April to get the new cards which they will need for standard.

To be fair we usually learn about the name of the set after the next set 5 or 6 months before it comes out. I will agree that by now we usually would have one or two cards, not sure why they felt they had to skip out on at least one spoiler at PAX.
It's really weird to see people getting so bent out of shape over this kind of meaningless stuff. It'll still be just as good or bad regardless of how much gets spoiled. You'll still buy it/not buy it.
How cute, you don't know what "preorder" means.
Also, maybe someone isn't buying some cards for a commander deck because he is waiting to see if the new UR precon is artifact based, but since we know absolutely NOTHING about the decks, not even the theme or the main general, maybe he just wasted two weeks.
But hey, who cares about those reason for spoilering things when you mentioned a lot of good reason to not spoiler anything, like... uhm... being a wotc fanboy?
Pretty sure you can still preorder it. So why all the crying? WotC isn't obligated to spoil anything. For all your complaining I'd bet you'll be refreshing the spoiler every day this week just like you would've two weeks ago. Seriously. Grow up.

Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.

[W]izards really needs to crack down on is stores selling for above MSRP. One of my LGS is selling FTV angels for 70 still, and anothers any pack that isnt the current block for 5 each because they are rarer packs...
This is contrary to US anti-trust law.
They cannot "crack down" on it, as MSRP is ...exactly that... a suggested price.
And, remember, it could get a whole lot worse before getting any better. That is, they could "crack down on it" they way they did with Modern Masters 2015...by charging the LGSs more and raising the MSRP LOL
The only "control" that Wizards has over LGS pricing is...effectively...the wholesale pricing as most LGSs couldn't go on for long if they sold for a loss.
Here is hoping for Lightning Greaves in everything rather than the alternative.
In most cases I prefer Swiftfoot Boots,
but the FNM art of LG would be nice to have more copies of.
Certainly Swiftfoot Boots are just as good, if not better, than Greaves, but it would be nice to see Greaves again after so many Boots. Greaves being $5 just bugs me.
But seriously, though I am hoping for an awesome BG Elf legend, I will just be happy if they DON'T have the enemy fetches. That would make them almost impossible to get. Since that would certainly have been hyped, I'm feeling pretty good about it so far.
They sell them in the big box stores, why would they be hard to get?
