Good god no. Tops makes games go twice as long, I'd be happy never seeing it reprinted so that the price tag keeps my playgroup from picking them up for every deck.
What's the fascination with elder dragons? I get the nostalgia factor of the original five, but I don't see new ones as doing anything but making the old ones less special.
Now, if they printed some cards that made it matter that might be cool. Like a wrath that destroys all non-Elder creatures.

Probably because the format used to be (and in many places still is) called "Elder Dragon Highlander".
I would love to see that, though.
Wrath of Ugin 6
Tribal Sorcery - Elder Dragon
Destroy all non-Elder creatures, then destroy all creatures with Changeling, then destroy each creature named Mistform Ultimus. Those creatures can't be regenerated.

Assuming WOTC decided to make Allied-colored commander decks next year, I'd like to imagine that they'd reprint the shocklands in these. Doubtful, but a guy like me can dream I suppose.

Yeah I know about the name, but I didn't know anyone still cared about it that way. Just goes to show they make this game to appeal to a lot of different people.
Interesting league tweed. Is Bolas banned or something?
Didn't see it here but 15 new cards per deck but only 55 new cards over all means some overlap. Overlap means monocolored or colorless cards. Hopefully these will be the broken or valuable cards from the set and we won't have another TNN on our hands.

They've literally done this every time. The new rares are in one deck, the new uncommons are in 3 decks, and the new common is in all 5 decks. Last year we got a bunch of artifacts and lands (Assault Suit, Arcane Lighthouse, etc) as the uncommons, with the common being Commander's Sphere. Two years ago it was Opal Palace, and the first time they did it it was Command Tower. They did mostly monocolor uncommon cards the first year, and probably will again this time.

Does anyone know if there is a list of the new cards fort each commander product?
EDIT: I mean the commander products from the last years.

for commander 2014, you can use Gatherer. Just sort the set using collector numbers and you'll see that the first batch of cards is the new ones followed by the reprints.
Here's to hoping the legendaries are just as cool as always!
I imagine Simic will be goodstuff, possibly with a 'power matters' or counters theme. (This would be the perfect deck to revisit proliferate.) It could even be Maro. Boros will probably be some sort of equipment-based Voltron or a token deck. Orzhov could follow what I'm starting to call the 'capitalist' theme: Get ahead in a resource, and then exploit that resource. Could be life, could be tokens.
Izzet is either instants and sorceries or artifacts.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Still hoping for divining tops in the precons so they'll be easier to find. For people like me that make a lot of decks its annoying to have to swap out tops.
Easy fix, stop putting top in all your decks. Just because it can go in, doesn't mean it should. Try being a little creative.
This looks like a good area to look at, I feel that they need to do the "full tour" with the commander products. I feel, that after Khans we can wait a few more years on Wedge Commander. The enemy color this year means next year we're going to see ally next year, and hopefully after that it forces them to tackle colorless, quad color, and rainbow as decks. I feel that the direction of Commander product has been fine. The design has improved over each year, last year probably the best designed out of the box decks that made the decks have purpose.
The main selling point for me is continuing to have planeswalkers, I have enough "Commanders" but I want to have more diversity in what is offered. A planeswalker commander has the widest appeal for Commander, Cube, and Legacy and *maybe* Vintage.

Life is a beautiful engineer, yet a brutal scientist.

Also, the card is just the most annoying card ever created and instead of just being removed from decks should be burned to ash.
Izzet and Orzhov are really thin on the ground. Nin is about the only non-Niv-Mizzet thing they can print that's in any way decent. Orzhov has Vish Kal, plus the two Teysas and two Ghost Dads. Most of these other options have either been reprinted or repurposed recently.
Golgari has a few options, but Glissa and Skullbriar stand out. Glissa is probably due a reprint, given Scars Block is now in reprint territory, and she's part of some fun combos (e.g. Executioner's Capsule). Skullbriar's price went insane recently thanks to Tiny Leaders and the EDH rules changes (as they took away the only ability you had to get counters off it).
Boros has a few strong options as well, but Aurelia and Tajic are the two that stand out to me. Tajic is worth sod all, but he's useful in EDH. Aurelia is probably the better option, but might see print in FtV:Angels for all I know. Might get slotted in here to sate people if it doesn't (given its price is starting to rise).
Simic has three really good options, and I can see any of those three getting the guernsey. I'd love it to be Vig, though - he really deserves a reprint in a deck that makes him shine.
I will say one thing, though... if Dack Fayden isn't in that Izzet deck... there. will. be. blood.
Also, to continue the dream of having Dack Fayden in the Izzet deck...
... would WotC dare to reprint a planeswalker in each of the five decks? They've reprinted 'walkers in these things before...
The other four are all fairly easy if you want to stick to the enemy colour combinations - Ajani Vengeant, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Kiora, the Crashing Wave and Vraska the Unseen. Three of those have already seen reprints in duel decks, so it wouldn't be a stretch to see them pop up at all. Vengeant is about the only one I think they've potentially baulk at.

They already screwed up the ones in DTK. Those did have some storyline basis for the type, though. Doing more would just be awkward and forced.

- Vish Kal
