This is exactly what I want in Orzhov. Perfectly playable (unlike Deathpact angel), especially with that Afterlife, and Magali Villeneuve angels are always beautifully drawn. A bit paler skin and she'd be plenty goth enough too
I really like this card. Efficient on offense, with the added flexibility of gaining vigilance to dissuade tiny beaters and deathtouch to persuade Goretrex.
Is this good enough for Boros Angels to make them Mardu Angels? They already have Aurelia as the 4-drop and this doesn't seem too exciting, especially since the Afterlife would be best WITH Aurelia. With the mana bases getting awesome, I can't see a BW midrange deck that wouldn't splash for a better 4 drop.
It trades with carnage tyrant, we'll see how relevant that is after the set drops. There are a ton of cards fighting for the 4 drop slot of an orzhov deck though.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
Afterlife 2 might seem odd at first from a flavor perspective, but not by that much. As for the card itself it's a good package but there is a lot of exile effects running around (Lava Coil if not anything else). Not saying that makes it bad, but you do need to have a plan if you're jamming this as you can't simply rely on afterlife value alone.

why do i have to pay extra mana for vigilance and deathtouch, when it is mythic ??? SERIOUSLY ?!
That's a good observation. At mythic, and given the color requirements in comparison of P/T, it could have had at least the abilities "for free" and afterlife as a good bonus.
I would agree at least buff the stats if your making me pay how about a 5/5 for 2BW, Pay for Vigilance and Deathtouch and the spirits i make one gets deathtouch and the other vigilance.
Well, Afterlife 2 sounds like a real blast with Divine Visitation on the board.

Laughably boring! I'm really disappointed this is what passes as a mythic nowadays. It will be played because it is undercosted, but there is nothing interesting about this card whatsoever.

I like the design though, treathening with deathtouch is always an option.
