$99 sealed GP entry indicates that the set will be priced as a normal booster set. (recent UMA GP was $150)
I do not share your optimism.
And now with no MSRP, who knows what these will be priced at? I would guess between 7 to 15 dollars a pack depending on if it is straight reprint or reprint plus new Modern only cards.
Probably similar to FTV sets. Just let the LGS price to local market. Backwoods or LGS heavy markets may see lower booster prices while LGS's with little competition and good traffic may be able to raise the price per pack. My local LGS's have already been doing this with limited print and specialty sets anyway.
One that went out of business was selling FTV:20 for like $300 lol.
I just hope it gets a strong print run to bring those prices down. There should absolutely be more competitive modern decks sub $300 USD. This is coming from someone who has quite a bit of value in his collection tied to eternal formats. I want cool cards and reprints, because there are a lot of great friends I want to play my hobby with.

So much this. Magic needs players, not hoarders.

Modern: G Tron, Vannifar, Jund, Druid/Vizier combo, Humans, Eldrazi Stompy (Serum Powder), Amulet, Grishoalbrand, Breach Titan, Turns, Eternal Command, As Foretold Living End, Elves, Cheerios, RUG Scapeshift
You can have a 3.99 price point, or you can have reprints of expensive modern staples. You're not getting both, forget that.
Why? We’ve had supplemental sets like both Conspiracies and Battlebond that have done just that. The Selesnya guild-kits had a wanted card worth the price of the box. WotC makes none of the extra money hoarders charge for holding old product, so why support them?

It's worth having a go at explaining why, instead of making arguments like this without backing them up.
Remember, WotC "doesn't acknowledge the secondary market" when designing or pricing its products. We can be skeptical, naturally, but that's their official line on this.
Technically, the secondary market price of a liliana or 'goyf or whatever shouldn't impact the MSRP of a set in the slightest.
'course we presume there's a sort of fuzzy grey area thing happening, where they are semi-aware of secondary prices, but if we were to take WotC for their word on the secondary market, there's no reason why reprinting' expensive modern staples' in a normal price booster couldn't happen.

None of those products had the same level of reprints for Modern as any of the modern masters sets.
I guarantee if they put a Tarmagoft in the Selesnya guild kit it wouldn't sell for MSRP.

I must have written that out 10+ times on these forums, so I'll skip, sorry. Short answer: WotC acknowledge the secondary market prices and balance out the EV to save reprint equity and avoid price gouging. I honestly wish it was not like that, but it is and have always been since MM15.

Would be real neat if this is the set that completes the cycle Horizon Canopy started. Could we imagine four more "Horizon ______" named cards for the other four allied pairs?
We don't even know yet if this set will have actual reprints of currently modern eligible cards. It's entirely possible the entire set is cards that have never been modern eligible before (either new cards or cards from pre-modern or supp products that have to date not been modern legal)

...or they've been waiting for a set they could actually complete one of the other cycles in but until now were stonewalled by them being too good for standard. A Burnwillows five or a Horizon five would make Standard manabases too good if they had to go through the old "Standard eligible product" gate to be allowed to exist for modern.
This is the point people keep on overlooking on this set. "They won't do that because they've shown unwillingness to before". If the unwillingness was because of Standard, this is a first time opportunity for them to reconsider all those wouldn't-do's.
Just imagine what they tasked designers of this set to do. "Hey guys, have you ever thought of any cards that should be in modern but we've been unable to print because they'd be too good for standard? Now's the time for those thoughts to be re-visited."

That would be nice to drive down the price of Horizon Canopy. It would certainly make for an interesting and powerful land cycle
I mean making copies of lands in new colors does make sense. They are only so many land variants you can make. Plus you kinda know the power level of said lands already so i can see the logic in moving Horizon Canopy into other colors.

But they do know, and they do respect it's existence.
This is going to be amazing. Gives me something to draft over the summer instead of the core set, AND adds sweet, cheap new stuff to the best eternal format.

I would like Canopy and Burnwillows in other allied color pairs.

here we go, I guess. new cards and reprints into modern bypassing standard. Didn't think they'd do it, but I sure am excited.

Your not completely correct unfortunately
graven cairns started its own cycle of lands called the filter lands
Same can happen with the other 4
For a offical cycle for horizon canopy it would be t pay 1 life and add this color or that color and tap and sac draw a card
