Smoke Shroud sounds like something in the Blinding Fog realm.
Smoke implies fire though. Makes me wonder if it's a GR card designed in the same style as Twisted Reflection - a G card with a mode that makes it better if R is spent. Like an R Overload, Entwine, Kicker, or Flashback cost.
There are already tons of “fog” effect cards in Modern... would they really waste one slot with a card like this? If yes... it will be disappointing.
I imagined something like a smoke grenade's kind of thing, maybe related to the ninja stuff... giving protection/evasion to your stuff in the battlefield. However, you may be right... the name kinda sounds like some stupid fog effect
An alternative art series card confirmed for Lancer Sliver and First Sliver’s Chosen (to go along with their regular foil selves) without having even seen them yet!? Yes please! And we’re getting ones for Enduring Sliver and Dregscape Sliver too!
I wish they’ve given us something that made 1/1 colorless Sliver tokens, because the Legions Player Rewards tokens depicting the original looking Slivers are starting to get harder to track down AND they’re rising in price as the years go by. I’ll hate using the M14/M15 Sliver tokens in this new Modern Horizons Sliver brew I’ll make.

Unless you are talking about something comletely unrelated, I think you misunderstood.
Those names were from a list of cards that will have an extra insert with a full print of the art on one side.
They have no play value and are just an extra card blank on one side and full art on the other. Just collectibles and not actual play cards.
So what's the chance we're off on the numbers and that last land slot is come kind of rare 5C snow land?
yeah, just 237 left on land slot. But I would not count on mana fixing, but rather some kind of utility land, with all the land destruction in the set, something like dunes of the dead (a land that creates a token when it is destroyed) would be apreciated.
So what's the chance we're off on the numbers and that last land slot is come kind of rare 5C snow land?
Zero. We know how to count to 53 and 15 and we know how print sheets work. The entire rare/mythic sheet is accounted for. 237 is either common or uncommon.

I was not aware that the numbers were quite that set in stone, and had seen people talking about there maybe being more rares than usual in threads like this before.
Well it is not unheard of diferent sheets styles for unconventional needs. We still have 36 full art cards (more like tokens). It is unlikely tho that there is more rare and mr slots, but at least the uncommons and commons are in a good power level.
just seems unlikely they would have held off on feature spoilers for anything really interesting; such as a 5-color snow land or whatever. the dump of cards at the end of the spoiler runs is usually just limited chaff.
edit: dont get me wrong, im hopeful to see some surprises too. like maybe cabal coffers makes it without being upshifted to rare. or grindstone at common.
What’s left is not complete chaff for me. I want to see what Lancer Sliver and First Sliver’s Chosen are, and what other Slivers, if anymore beyond that, are what’s in the remaining cards.
Any other last day remaining lot from any other set that doesn’t have Slivers, however, is chaff for me. Well, not accounting for design space and flavor considerations.
Well... Last chance for some new uncommon/common angel (but not holding my btreath).
Disappointed by the token having the M19 art and not a new onw, or hell, by WotC not going all the way and printing full art token too like they did in unstable.
Do we know First Sliver’s Chosen is White?
Considering what The First Sliver does,
I could totally see it being Blue with “Slivers you control have ‘UT: Return this creature to your hand.’”
I guess they could do that in White as well, if they wanted.

Maro mentioned during the weekly stream about an exalted sliver. Now I'd have to rewatch what he exactly said, but I do believe he implied that the exalted sliver, along with the cascade and the unearth sliver are all in the set. The context was a story he told about how design tried to one up each other on Sliver cards, and he mentioned unearth, then exalted, then cascade, and I think he said they all made it to print, though I might've misheard him or he might've misspoke. An exalted sliver, while interesting, wouldn't be anywhere near as good as a battle cry sliver, and I do think this set would've been perfect, especially since slivers are RW. 1WW for a 2/2 Sliver that gives all slivers battle cry would be extremely helpful for Modern Slivers me thinks. But exalted wouldn't be terrible, though it would obviously help you more to attack with all your slivers rather than only attack with one, which is why I feel battle cry is better suited for the tribe.
At this point, all I care about are the slivers and the snow stuff left. Maro also mentioned that Snow is not off the table for Standard, so we may see further expansion in Kaldheim. But I feel like a set like this would be perfect for Slivers with all the mechanics you wouldn't find in Standard. Maro mentioned the issue with designing slivers and why slivers are in this set is Slivers for Standard would most likely be stuck with evergreen keywords. However, with regards to Modern Slivers and the newer Sliver templating, there's no Hexproof Sliver, no Flash sliver, no Uncounterable sliver, etc. Heck, the Boros Sliver could easily have been in Standard, as both keywords are evergreen. I really do hope we see Slivers in Standard again and get the last 2 or 3 Slivers needed for Modern Slivers to become actually competitive.
By the way, the final reprint is Shelter, spoiled by Orcs Head Magic. Somewhat underwhelming being the last reprint spoiled, but not really surprising being only mere hours from the full set reveal.

Smoke Shroud can only be white or red. Spinehorn Minotaur, by its name, doesn’t seem to be blue or white.
Smoke was rare in its time... but it’s still possible as uncommon.

Field of Ruin *is* modern’s fixed wasteland. It’s already the second most played land in modern. Modern doesn’t need more.

Someone told me that the cards not spoiled will be available tomorrow, 05/31, is it true? Thanks for your hard work!
