Makes a pretty good combat trick, and token decks with cards like Brimaz and Hero of Bladehold love them some anthems.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
AUTUMNTWILIGHT is correct. This simply isn't pushed enough, and that's sadly a theme for a lot of cards in this set.
They should have used this as a chance to break the format, create new archetypes and maybe push some archetypes over the limit, but instead we got..safe.
Innovative, but safe. And that's really, really sad. Even sadder is that recent standard sets have broken formats more than this will.
Hopefully some of the upcoming mythics will be more up the power curve.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
Makes a pretty good combat trick, and token decks with cards like Brimaz and Hero of Bladehold love them some anthems.
I mean I guess but its not an Answer and is this card really going to bring them back. Also it does nothing to protect them from removal or boardwipes. The BW tribal anthem does a better job at least it gives indestructible for 1 mana and a sacrifice. This meanwhile does nothing when your opponent wipes out all your creatures with basically any board wipe in modern.
I mean think its clear this set didn't start being about Modern and WOTC loves their Drafting. That said when looking at the Forces specifically, I don't think its asking for too much for Force of Virtue to be like the others Force and Mainboardable at best and a sideboard option at worse. Instead of straight unplayable. This doesn't answer anything and is clearly weaker then the other Forces by a significant margin. Now maybe I am wrong as I don't play Humans but I don't see them playing it and that is like the only white creature deck around and I guess Spirits but again. Maybe they have enough cards to make some strong token decks post MH but eh right now a real letdown. And unlike the other Forces it doesn't even look like they tried at all.
Really? You're complaining that this set isn't going to make Modern more degenerate? I'm perfectly happy with the set's safe approach. I want interesting new additions to the format, not a pushed competitive curve. Modern has quite enough going on there already. We got quite possibly the best counterspell ever printed, in so far as its ability to keep broken combos in check without ruining everyone's fun. We got a devastatingly efficient answer to token swarm decks. And we got the best budget fetchland yet.

Well this card blows lol. The fact you can only use the pitch option on your opponents turn limits you to getting favorable blocks only. No way is the 2 for 1 worth just flashing this in EoT and at 4 mana it's too expensive to flash in regularly.
I understand why the blue spell was on your opponents turn only but you should really have been able to cast this for the pitch cost at any time.
I was really hoping white got a sort of teferi's protection style pitch. Not as powerful but something like you can't be targeted, your life total can't change, you can't get counters, you can't lose the game and for extra power make it either split second or simply can't be countered.
Ah yeah. I hoped it would not be life gain... An anthem for 4 Mana with flash. I am surprised because of the enchantment type but other than that... Specially if I compare this card with the green, black or blue card it feels way too bad. You need a wide board for this while the other force cards are always useful. A big let down. I guess we won't get Lema from the silver sword as a creature?
If this would have been 2cc (ww) with discard two white cards for the flash alternative cost this would be as good like the other colors.
That seems preety white weenie mono which isnt that trouble some in modern.
Making it 3cc with 1 white card discard is average albut okay and splashable.
But puting it in 4cc is where it's better uncommon a +1 buff at toughness in toughtness at the current meta of modern isn't helping if were going for defensive options since there are dozen of spells that gives indestructible, protection, untap, firststrike, +3 more, and sometime even flying. Even with a cost of 2cc compare to the discard ww.
If were talking offensive option or as a finisher with the discard cost it pretty much bad compare to the others since this was supposed to be for white weenie which has tons of extra mana latter while for those that attempt to use this for other weenie variantd other colors had better alternatives for the offensive cause.
It'll fit well in an Enchantment deck with the Enchantment draw support to make up for the card cost. Throw in a Cloudstone Curio then one could just play one copy of FOV to bounce the other. Rinse and repeat to draw out the deck.
