So I don't know what everyone else is hoping for the new walker... But please don't be Gruul, we literally just got rid of domri and they still have a healthy amount, please stop making new gruul walkers.
And yes, I do realise this is a futile ask considering he's literally a tree man on fire
I don't know if any mentioned yet, but Kaya's Ghostform and Synod Sanctum seems pretty cheap and efficent ways to have the Walkers permanently, the Synod seems especially good for the fact to also let you use twice the ability of a busted PW in the same turn while keeping it forever.
I use Cloudstone Curio as a way to combo with mana generating planeswalkers for my Will & Rowan Kenrith Primer. So this is perfect, I will be trying this out in the deck. You can check out the idea by clicking the Will & Rowan image in my signature, and I have a section "The Curious Case of Cloudstone Curio".

This is awesome! I have been playing a "Combo Walker" deck for years now (but in Modern). I've been boring the Green Devotion Primer with my deck for a few years using Walkers + Cloudstone Curio I am so excited to see someone else utilize the combo in a different form. I’ll PM you to trade some notes.
The way my deck (and Darrenhabib’s) works is "looping" two Walkers (with at least one being a mana-producing walker) to generate infinite mana and infinite triggers of their abilities. An example is Garruk Wildspeaker and Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner. I play it within a Green Devotion deck to take advantage of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx It is not uncommon for either to be able to produce more than enough mana (by untapping either lands with enchantments like Utopia Sprawl, etc. and/or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx)...The same is true for walkers like both Kiora's (that untap lands), Xenagos, the Reveler, multiple Nissa's, etc. As long as one or both walkers IN SUM generate greater than or equal to the sum of their total casting costs; you have inifnite mana and/or triggers with Cloudstone Curio.
Once the walkers combine to generate more mana than the sum of their costs...you can "loop" them with Cloudstone Curio to make infinite mana and then trigger their other abilities as many times as you want (making infinite tokens, drawing out your deck, dealing infinite damage, etc.). The effect just depends on the walkers used. I also use other cards like Oath of Nissa, Elvish Visionary, etc. that also draw out the deck.
Now the deck also plays Karn, the Great Creator; but the plan A is Curio Combo. I could write a whole primer on it...but that is not the point of this thread. I put the way the deck / Curio Combo works under a spoiler so as not to take away from the discussion of the card. I was just excited to see this here and be able to find your primer
Anywho, on the topic of Accomplice...this card allows other decks to take advantage of this combo too. It gets a little complicated; but Chandra, Torch of Defiance can create the two red mana needed to cheat in both walkers (so they can literally be any CMC and any color). While this is a four card combo (Planebound Accomplice, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Cloudstone Curio, and any other Walker) the pieces by themselves are good too. It likely is a little too much to be viable in Modern; but Cloudstone Curio can be used to blink the walkers (like Venser and others do).
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I’m playing a Queen Marchesa Superfriends (as much as it is possible to be Superfriends in Mardu) list and dumping a fistful of walkers into the yard with this right before Primeval’s Glorious Rebirth seems fun.
WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.

Many thanks to DNC at Heroes of the Plane Studios
You are probably better off just playing Saheeli.
Also makes it uncounterable if they let the ability resolve. That's something that could be worth while?
Sneaking in any of the new WAR walkers with statues could be kinda neat (like the wanderer).
You could also use Sundial of the Infinite as a way to keep it permanently.
Niv-Mizzet Reborn
Feather, the Redeemed
Estrid, the Masked
Teshar
Tymna/Ravos
Najeela, Blade-Blossom
Firesong & Sunspeaker
Zur the Enchanter
Lazav, the Multifarious
Ishai+Reyhan

He could be a WBG treefolk for lorwyn fanservice...?
This guy, however, does not look so interesting.
Red is gonna get Superfriends support cards now
Sarkhan the Mad also work with his first and second ability.
Being able to vindicate permanents with ye old bolas or to sweep the board vs humans with ugin (himself included though) seems bananas.
Never mind what this does with a doubling season in play. This thing is a must kill otherwise you should be able to win the game pretty easily.
This also works great in legacy since it's fetchable with recruiter.
Check!

Fair cheating is the worst kind.

You are right that Planebound Accomplice can work well with Cloudstone Curio.
